Yesterday we welcomed New Zealand as a New Empire on Which the Sun Never Sets. Today we can greet big Brazil the same way! And we could ask ourselves, is eRepublik becoming Age of Empires and Gold?

Portugal is fully back on the map, and Centro region has been returned to Portugal.

European Brazil Expanding - Brazilian Samba and Bossa Nova Beats over Three Continents on Atlantic Shores
Canary Islands - West Gate of Europe
On the dawn of day 1184 Brazil is quite well over Atlantic Ocean and in Europe. Canary Islands are still Brazilian. Brazil also holds Andalucia, and on day 1183 it conquered Extremadura. Today Brazil attacks Murcia. Will Brazil continue its European conquista or will Spaniards push Brazilians back?
Spanish Rebel War on Canary Islands
There is a one-on-one rebel war raging on Canary Islands, where Spaniards are trying to regain Canaries from Brazil. Day 1184 will tell us who will prevail. This could indicate in which direction Spanish-Brazilian war could go. If Spaniards can win Canary Islands from Brazil when at the same time fighting to defend Murcia, then they could also have enough strength to push Brazil back to Brazil. Or Not.
In the mean time we can prepare for some Brazilian Carnival and watch the Queens and Musas of Rio de Janeiro 2011 Carnival.

With all these territories, it's also not a wonder that currently Brazil has the largest population in the eWorld. When we remember that Brazil keeps major deal od South America and around half of South Africa, it is a greatest country in eWorld spreading over three continents and Atlantic Ocean, being bigger even than New Zealand!

However, their two core regions are left to Indonesia. Another core region being swapped with Australia for Tasmania leaves only one core region to New Zealand, but having four colonies.

Their attack on Indonesian South Australia also seems not going well for New Zealand. It seems that New Zealand is moving from Oceania to South America and Australia.

It really can be noticed that Serbian hand has taken over rule of New Zealand - leaving its core and searching for new territories. Are we going to witness emerging of Great New - New Zealand nation?
Look Who is Back on the Map! [Day 1183]
When we look at the map, we can see that many countries are back to the map, fully or partially regaining their core regions:
1 Turkey,
2 Republic of Macedonia (FYROM),
3 Belgium,
4 The Netherlands,
5 Switzerland,
6 Austria,
7 Ukraine,
8 Portugal,
9 soon Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Southeastern Europe - Greece, Turkey, Bulgaria, Republic of Macedonia (FYROM)
Turkey and Greece - NO PEACE
Turkey is back on map with only one region at the moment after signing a peace treaty with Greece.
After two weeks of full occupation by Greece, Turkey has signed a peace treaty with favorable conditions for Greece, a treaty which is guaranteed to be fulfilled by PANAM and EDEN. Turkey will be a new member of PANAM and should pay 1500 gold per region (only Black Sea Coast of Turkey and Southeastern Anatolia mentioned in the treaty). The treaty falls hard to the most of Turkish players and we will see what happens next. According to the treaty Turkey should accept Cyprus being and staying Greek indefinitely. For now Turkey is reduced to a single region - The Mediterranean Coast of Turkey, bordering Greece, Israel and Egypt. Turkish president who also signed the treaty proposed NE law against Greece which will most probably be accepted as part of the peace treaty in order for both countries' players to gain more experience during return of some Turkish regions. However, the peace treaty is in question now, since Turkish president alipoyraz was under a lot of pressure from Turkish players who don't recognize the treaty, so he ran off from the country to Brazil. Automatically with his moving and unavailability to his native country, Turkey got a new country president, a MilliyetciParti Party President, Suleyman Shah who also doesn't recognize the peace treaty. So we'll probably look at some more Greek-Turkish battles. And there is a probability that Turkey is going out from PANAM even before being accepted.
With no news yet from Plato or Admins we are stilll not sure what is a rule, what a bug and what an exploit.
Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) is free, but without a congress.
Middle and Southeastern Europe - Croatia and its surrounding
Crozil and Croatia Cracking the Cage
Day 1183: Middle and Southeastern Europe - Croatia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Italy, Austria
Croatia conquered Brčko Distrikt in Bosnia with help of its allies, especially thanks to Brasil, and retaken it from Serbia two days ago. It was returned to Bosnia and Herzegovina on day 1183. Croatia lost battles in Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina and Lika and Gorski Kotar in a war against Serbia.
On day 1183 Croatia conquered Prekmurje and Styria and Carinthia in a war against Slovenia.
Middle Europe - Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Poland, Slovenia, Slovakia
Day 1183: Occupied Austria and Switzerland
Switzerland is back on the map, holding two of its core regions. The others two are divided between France and Poland.
Austria holds only one of its original regions. The others are divided between Hungary, Serbia, Slovenia and Slovakia. Austrian rebel war against Hungary in Styria on day 1183 didn't succeed.
Italy is regaining its core regions from Slovenia. On day 1183 Italy regained control over Piedmont and today Veneto is on the menu.

Serbia has swapped through Germany and reached Belgian borders. They are actually trying to reach the UK. However, France took Belgian Wallonia and blocked their way. Now they should probably wait until the Wallonian battle between France and Belgium is resolved or after Dutch-Polish battle of Southern Netherlands is finished. Both don't look favorable for Serbia. So they could try some other way, either trying to make a deal with Poland to let them through Netherlands or perhaps through starting a RW in Wallonia and then attacking Belgium to break through to East of England. Open conflict with France is also possible, and finding another route through The Netherlands (Northern Netherlands) or Germany and Norway (Vestlandet) to get to the UK (Scotland) is less likely, but also possible.
Middle and Eastern Europe - Romania, Hungary, Ukraine, Russia
Today Romania attacked Southern Great Plain in Hungary.
Ukrainian Liberation War
Ukraine has managed to liberate some of its core regions from Russia and now holds seven of them. Still seven or so to go.
Northern Europe – Latvia, Finland, Estonia, Lithuania, Sweden
Baltic Region Battles
Estonia is being attacked in Laane Eesti by Latvia, and in Kesk Eesti by Finland. Sweden is attacking Lithuania in Sudovia and returning a favor to Lithuanians for a training war.
Western Europe - Belgium, The Netherlands, France
Belgium and the Netherlands
Belgium and The Netherlands also hold two regions each, Belgian Wallonia is taken by France, and two Dutch regions are occupied by Poland.

About eTurkey:
A game bug(?) turned the situation and the previous President was replaced by anotherone. Now the new President of Turkey does not recognise the agreement signed by the previous one and he declared the peace agreement nulled.

As for the NE law, it was part of the agreement, in order for both countries' players to benefit from the NE rule.

Tnx Makedonissa! It seems that it's not a bug, but a rule that when country president leaves the country, he automatically resigns his duty and the party president of the strongest party becomes a new president.

I think this rule was erased, since all congress members can travel elsewhere and still remain congress members and vote for laws, also he President of Cyprus (that doesnt exist since November I think) has travelled almost everywhere in the world and still is President of Cyprus, etc etc... I will be waiting for the admins answer on this one though ; )

since the agreement was published i saw the turks being against it but in this 24 hours there was no other official article from the people of the opposition nor was any kind of impeachment that would show their dissagreement to the president alipoyraz!
this is another direct hit to the credibility of Turkey.. and it is not the only one in all this time i play the game they are proven not to be trusted!

yes we deserve to suffer for electing one person that gives different decisions at different times.and will pay a very big penalty for this.whole e-nation will pay because of one. in opposite of most of the e-countries decisions of politics, our e-nation have no chance to comment or change on the ones that are declared in the past 2 months.
