A Day to Celebrate

Near about six months back, when I was more of a noob then I am now, I had been given the opportunity by my dear friend, and then AHF commander, kansarasumit, to express my deep desire to see West Bengal, the place of my birth in real life, returned to eIndia. I was all hotblooded & fired up, and didn't understand an ounce of international politics then. This was an expression of my personal vow to see Bengal reunited with India, & my very first article:
Joy Bangla!!!

Today, West Bengal is back in eIndia's fold, taking our tally of regions to 14! Of course I so wish we had actually fought for it, but the truth is it was returned by eIran, as a move to block eUSA from attacking them. Though I wish we had got it back under better circumstances, nonetheless today is a very special Day in my eLife.

Joy Bangla! Joy Bharat!!

Mafia Fail, eIndia Win... Again

Day 757 is made more special by the fact that we won the Party Presidency elections, against the eIranian Political Take Over group, Mafia. This is their FOURTH attempt at TOing our administration, and second attempt at the parties. Don't you guys ever learn? eIndia is the wrong nation to be messing with.

No matter how much you cheat, and create hundreds of multiple accounts, and no matter which Balash, Akrado or Ashi backs you up, you will not defeat us. We are survivors and will continue to do so, always.

I'd personally like to thanks ALL the voters, and genuine eIndian Citizens for working as a team, with unity and grit, to defeat this albeit formidable foe. Thanks especially to the newer guys, Rob, Abhi, Harendra and others who did a terrific job getting voters. Shail, Ashwamedh, Vigi, well, you guys rock as ever!

Critical: The Job Ahead

This is no time to relax. The Mafia threat is larger than ever. We are expecting a massive influx of multiple accounts, and a major attack from their side. Even if it does not come, we need to take preventive measures, to the best of our ability (something we are not short of!).

Some of the measures are:
1> Expansion:
We need a baby boom, as they say in the media world, YESTERDAY!)
~ Please talk to your friends, colleagues, tell them about this exciting game, tell them how we have a cool community, and how we're under attack. They need to spend only 15 minutes a day on average, no downloads, no payments, and accessible from any device which supports the internet. ~ Promote it on Orkut, Facebook & other social networking sites (we have our own communities up, so contact us for more details). Talk to coolspidy8993, our Minister of Expansion (Mo😵 if you can help out in any way.
~ Ashwamedh is putting out ads in magazines and such, and is working a whole aggressive marketing strategy. Ads cost RL cash, so donations will be welcome, and all details of expenses will be provided. Contact Ashwamedh for more details.

2> Citizen Welfare:
All the new Citizens need to be taken care of. Its not an easy job. Moreover we need ACTIVE & CONTRIBUTING Citizens in eIndia. Trust me there are no shortage of stuff to do! If you feel you can do more for the community, and don't wanna miss out on the fun of doing so, CONTACT US TODAY!

~ Energize India Campaign:
This is a very basic program I have envisioned. Its pretty simple.
** When you log into eRepublik, simultaneously, come online on #india IRC Channel, India National Chat Room. Promote them via shouts & links on your paper, as much as possible.

** Log into the eIndia Forums, read the announcements, and make at least a couple of posts a day.

** Check Online Citizens & talk to them. Interact as much as possible. One can make friends, and especially in case of newbies, those joining that day, they'll feel part of the community. Hence, higher retention rates. If there are any issues they might be facing, refer them to the respective authorities - Internal Affairs, Indian Armed Forces, and such. [Links below]

Moreover the guys, who do respond to your personal messages, add them as friends, and they can then see your shouts, and get critical updates in times of War/Elections.

There is a chance that they are multiple accounts of Mafia, so do be careful though. Don't accept unwarranted donations & add only those you deem can be trusted. If in doubt ask us.
However, DO create this network of friends, and let's build the community up!

Free Weapons Program

Proposal: To promote activity on Forums & IRC, I plan to launch a free weapons program. Basic points regarding my plan:
~ I own a Q1 weapons co in Ireland, and can run it within my limited personal funds, for the time being.
~ This will be an incentive program - maybe 1 Q1 weapon for every GENUINE Citizen below X level (to be decided) registering on the eIndia Forums & 2 more for being active (measured by quality posts) on it.
~ Given the influx of multiple accounts and Mafia, the judgment if someone is genuine or not, rests with me. I suppose I can be vouched for being true to my word, & of sound mental health! XD

Want feedback on it, if possible. I know I have a lot of loans out in the market, and hope to repay them asap, but this sort of a project would do good for eIndia. What do you think?
