What can I do?
As much as I love this poem by one of the greatest Indians ever, I am quite thankful, I am not walking alone here, in the eWorld. While just working and training and fighting is all good and fine, in truth the game holds much more riches, it offers boundless possibilities, and is way too exciting if we go beyond just playing our 'own game'. Being part of Congress, taking decisions that determine the eLives of so many others, negotiating with foreign dignitaries, thinking economics; I could go on and on about how one could get involved in this eWorld. The fun part is the interactions and the immense support and love you get from your fellow Citizens, gamers like you and me; a very surprising aspect of the eRepublik I would say, for you don't expect this in 'war-oriented game'.
I am thankful, that I am walking side by side with a multitude of dedicated, and sincere guys, who look at eRepublik, beyond its gaming aspect and who work tirelessly to build our eIndian community, to make the game enjoyable for all our Citizens in any way they can; they are my eIndian brothers and sisters. To you, I salute!
But this very community today, our eIndia is under threat.
And I am not just talking PTO.
Yes, for one of course we are under a most critical threat scenario, where a group of Iranian guys, led by an infamous character, Imam Balash, who has been banned countless times. They call themselves the Mafia, and the Indian group, is led by sanginrape and akrado22. Here is a list of their multiple accounts, recovered after days of research put in by our National Police Force (NPF):

There are of course more and we are constantly monitoring the situation, and noting down these guys, who are trying to rape our motherland! If you are reading this, then please take the time out, go to the eRepublik Admin Contact Page, and Submit a ticket, reporting them. Maybe Admin will review our case a little better when 100's of eIndians and their supporters from across the world report these cheaters.
Today, the Mafia have set up their own party, the Radical Party and are seeking to loot our Nation, by doing a Political Take-Over (PTO). In today's election whatever you do, DO NOT VOTE FOR THEIR CANDIDATES.

It IS going to be a tough battle, beating them back, especially with the scores of multiple accounts and underhanded schemes being pulled by the Mafia, but WE CAN DO IT. We Can beat them back; We can save eIndia.
And it boils down to what YOU do, what action You, the eIndian Citizen take.
As I said earlier the PTO attempt is only one half of the threat. The greater threat is LETHARGY and INERTIA.
Yes this is a game, and should not require 'hard-work', for after all if 'play becomes work', then what is the point. But this game is like no other, in this 'game', the community , our eIndia is the very bane of our survival in the eWorld. Imagine if today eIndia is Taken Over because of our lack of coordinated Action, then all the 100's of Indians joining here, will quickly lose interest, and quit the game even before knowing how much fun it is; scores of our own Citizens will lose interest, and soon eIndia will cease to exist.
Do YOU want that? Do YOU want eINDIA to be in ruins because of some guy's underhanded schemes? I assume no.
So how do we stop that? This is WHAT YOU CAN DO.
1> Be Aware

2> Be Pro-active
They have multiple accounts. We don't, well most of us don't!
So how do we get the votes? By talking to our fellow eIndians. We have 24 hours, to transform an active population of maybe 150 to an active population of 300, fo we do have the population for it, just not enough people taking initiative. Some of us have been at at for the past few days, spending countless hours sending personal messages and talking to other eIndians. But we need an united effort. We need each eIndian to stand up and take charge, irrespective of who else is doing it. Let us work, as if the whole onus of saving eIndia IS ON ME, each of us.
As Tagore said, "open thy mind and speak out alone."
3> Work as a team.
Some of us, including but not only restricted to ArjaaAine, shail.back or myself, maverick10 Dodge Knight, have been monitoring the entire situation closely. Our NPF Head, Ashmawedh has spent hours tracking all the rogue players and multi's. Akash Verma has been doing a balancing act, studying for his exams, and sending hundreds of PM's to fellow Citizens. Jelly9473, Gendun Choepel, and Wing0, our Party Presidents have united as a team, putting aside party differences, talking to all their party members & showing great leadership! This is of course to name but a few of them.
The point is, we are here, working as a team, and we want each eIndian whether you are level 20 or level 6, work with us, join our team, UNITE FOR THE SAKE OF eINDIA!
We will be monitoring the votes closely, so talk to us before you vote. Use that ONE VOTE wisely, and each of those will lead us to victory!

We are all busy with Rel Life I am sure. I am in the middle of client calls and conferences, and some have exams, others well other stuff to do!
But today is a crucial day for all of us. It requires us to coordinate well, to act fast and act with tact. We need AS MANY eINDIANS AS POSSIBLE TO STAY ONLINE BETWEEN 23:00 - 00:00 ON ELECTION DAY, DAY 736.
Please give us that time if you can, and let us know by sending a message to the contacts mentioned. If you have other critical engagements, and can't be there at that time, think till WHEN LATEST you can be there, and let us know. We'll send you voting orders accordingly. Again if you haven't been sent instructions yet, CONTACT US again. Your patience and cooperation is highly appreciated and is what will see us through this difficult challenge.
5> Be Active Build India
Finally, the reason these thieves get the opportunity to try and rob us, is because we lack active Citizens. Ironically, India, the country with 17.25% of the World population, 2nd highest in the world, [Ref: List of countries by Population] has an eIndian community of barely 300 eIndians, barring the dead & banned ones. Even our Internet population has about 13 million users on one social networking site alone. eIndia also lacks high resource regions - the very India that is one of the most naturally gifted countries in the real world! But in spite of all this we survive, we advance with our head held high, and we work as much as possible to change our circumstances, and not get defeated by it even an ounce.
Led by our Presidents, over the past few months we have really advanced a lot. But we need YOU - become active, devote a bit of time on the forums, talk to your fellow eIndians, and realize the full potential of the eRepublik. Trust me, if you are not standing where I am standing, you are surely missing out on a lot of fun! So get involved, give us some time and let's rock!
