This is unacceptable!!!
By now I suppose all eIndians & Citizens of many nations are aware we have had a recent attack by some rogue Iranian elements, calling themselves the Mafia. They have made around 150-200 multiple accounts, possibly more, and are using that to Take Over our eNation. Here's a list of them, as per latest update, as tracked by our National Police force (NPF): Please Help And report Opportunistic Cheats!!!
We have been reporting them to eRepublik Admin, but it seems the Mafia are playing it clever, and in spite of obvious proof in terms of donations, date of birth, voting patterns, false spread of information & even ads put up by them in Iranian, Admin are unable to bring them to justice.
We have been fighting them toe to toe, and in spite of heavy odds, and almost being on the verge of losing congress as it seemed at one point, we managed to fight back. We secured 30 out of 40 seats and are working to secure Presidential elections and coming elections with any means possible within our means.
But now they have taken the game to a different and pathetic level. they have stooped so low as to bring out an ad with the caption: 'The Battle has just begun', a line I myself used in my last article: A Different Battle

And the image in the Ad by the Mafia is of the INDIAN FLAG BURNING!!!

What the hell is going on?
I mean, creating multiple accounts, trying to Take Over a nation, are offenses in themselves for which we obviously don't have mechanisms to stop from happening. But its still restricted to the game.
An image of a RL Nation's flag burning! That's immature, insensitive, cheap and absolutely unacceptable! That's enough to make me and RL Indians wanna leave the game. And the perpetrators are of course still roaming about scot-free. We are course reporting it, but what will happen? If nothing, all I see is maybe 1 out of the 200 multi's will get some forfeit points, even if that!
Is this what we signed up for? Is this what the game has been reduced to?
We demand concrete action against the perpetrators, all of them.

I am sure I can say this on behalf of all eIndians, especially RL Indians, that I hope concrete action is taken. Enough is enough.

@Arya - If no action is taken against this issue it is going to legal authorities, and then we won't be responsible if the game is shut down and servers are taken for examining them for a few weeks.
After that too, we won't be responsible if any of the erepublik team members are taken into custody for questioning and such.
This case is something we DO NOT take lightly. If nothing is done in this regard then something will go wrong.
P.S. If you don't do anything we WILL make a report to the legal authorities and we WILL give this to RL media.
Thats a shame, I hope the admin actually do something about this
However, there is no way erep gets shut down because of the actions of a few people and a couple of posted pictures. Far more offensive things can be found on the internet.
Yeah Akash - erep isnt likely to be shut down no matter the situation. Its not trivial, but its not the worst to be found either as USA Welcoming Committee rightly said.
But definitive action should be taken. I request all Citizens to sign the Open letter please. Thanks

P.S. If you ban the people who did this shameless act, we prefer not to report the case, or at least I do.
I hope you consider that such a disrespectful act hurts a lot. If people can give their life at the battlefield for their nation then what makes you think they will see this and keep quite?
