A Different Battle: Section I for all eIndians

Congratulations to all Elected Congressmen & women! WE DID IT!

Yes eRepublik is just a game, but you gotta admit, it feels good to come out victorious, especially in a good fight; especially when you are fighting on the side of justice & honor!!

eIndia is a small country, with limited resources but as a team, we have once again proved to be capable of unleashing great potential! But the battle has just begun. What am I talking about?

Well, if you are still not aware, from the 'In Your Face' media-articles, blaring ads, numerous shouts, and probably inbox-full of messages, eIndia was under attack.

Some rogue Iranian elements calling themselves the Mafia, made a multitude of multiple accounts, and tried to do a hostile Take Over of our Congress. Thanks to an united effort by many of our eIndian brothers and sisters, we were able to push them back in spite of seemingly insurmountable odds.

The Battle has just begun

And this does not involve weapons & wars. This is a battle of Action, Wits, & United Effort.

Nothing unites better and makes us stronger than a worthy adversary, but if we do not respond to the challenge we shall crumble. Mafia's threat is far from over. They shall attack us at every point from hereon & its up to us to take adequate measures.

Plain & simple, eIndia needs to unite, become more active, and get more organized. We did good in Congress, but I am confident we could have done better, if we were more coordinated and pro-active. Its not a matter of saying who did what, and who did more or less than others. Look only at yourself, ask yourself how much could You have done - maybe send a few more messages, maybe mentored a few more eIndians and got them to voting age. What matters is now, let's stop brooding over what could have been, and focus on what can be done.

So here are my ideas for the rest of eIndia, irrespective of who you are, and for the sake of eIndia's survival.

>> The game is way more fun if you are involved. Not only that, its way more engaging & exciting as well: taking critical decisions, working together as a team. And it does not require any hard work. Just a bit of your time spent on the eIndia Forums & the IRC Chat channel, introduce yourself, talk to us, and if you have any doubts, queries or ideas, feel free to voice your opinions! >> Some of us are already mentors, and are working to educate eIndia, but the onus is on all of us. Information and correct understanding of the Game Mechanics is key to success in eRepublik, and we need to be pro-active in contacting new Citizens, helping them in any way we can. So whenever you log in, go to the Online Citizens page, add a friend, interact; especially if he/she has joined that day ~ make him/her feel part of the eIndian family right then and there. I am sure that very soon, all of eIndia will be connected by a chain of friends, with genuine bonds rather than just some avatars on your friends list!!

It is irrespective of which party you are in, or what your goals in eRepublik are. A Different Battle: Section II for all Congressmen/women.

My dear Congressmen/women,
My heartiest congratulations to all of you. Many had been shortlisted from before, some chose to give it a try for the first time, but main thing is, we could secure our majority. Given our lack of much prior experience in this, the 30 seats we managed are nothing short of impressive!

I am of the opinion though that we could have managed 3-4 more seats, with a little bit more coordinated effort, and not just today, but over the past few days and weeks. Many of us had been working very hard at it, especially our unsung heroes Ashwamedh and Nikkk S, who spotted the multi's; Akash Verma, NagaPrathyush, calvinhobbes, hs1975, samarth12345 and the list goes on and on, who have been messaging Citizens like crazy; of course our dear President kansarasumit, ex-President shail.back, ArjaaAine & srachit, our three Party Presidents, Jelly9473, Gendun Choepel, and Wing0 who put aside political differences for the sake of eIndia, and many more Citizens who did they best they could in the midst of real life challenges. But we could have done EVEN better.

More than anything I want to thank the Voters, for following orders so efficiently and effectively. Every single vote counted & made a difference!!! Most importantly, thank you to the candidates who sacrificed their seat to keep with the general strategy, and let others win. I assure you, it won't be in vain. I also extend my heartfelt apologies that we could not manage a seat for you. To all the genuine candidates who could not get in, I personally pledge to ensure you get into Congress in the coming term!

Now onto the business at han😛
Congressmen/women, be responsible. Please stick to Congress rules.

1> Please donate the 5 gold earned from elections to Indian Government Bank, as is the custom, to boost our economy.
2> Please DO NOT approve any Citizenship before clarifying with our National Police Force Chief, Ashwamedh
3> Please do not Vote for any proposal without clarifying with the Head of Congress, which is me, till someone else takes over, and REJECT all proposals made by the MAFIA Congressmen.
4> Please discuss all proposals in forum for 24 (TWENTY FOUR) hours before putting up in game. All discussion on MPP, foreign affairs, building purchase, and matters of national security are to be discussed only on Lok Sabha Secret Section.
5> We have a 3:1 majority in congress, genuine and Mafia. I would request all of you , NOT TO RESIGN, and to VOTE ON EVERY PROPOSAL. Remember we are carrying the responsibility of whole of eIndia on our shoulders.
6> Be active on the eIndia Forums and be involved in the discussions and decision-making. It is not a request, but your duty to do it as voluntary candidate & an elected official.
7> A secure IRC channel has been setup especially for matters of national security (#superindia). It is password protected. Only 'safe' Congressmen/women and all key eIndians (Prez, Ministers, SCOI/FCOI members, and selected active eIndians will be given the password. Message me if you think you should be in it.)

Finally we are working on setting up a meeting on the #superindia channel for all the above mentioned eligible personnel. Agenda will be current affairs and future directive.
