Following on from the first MoF article of this term, the DoF would like to start doing a weekly update of our current finances. While this weekend's update will be short (as the current administration has only been in power for a few days), we will stay true to our word and keep you, the Irish public updated.

Also the DoF has some exciting news in regards to Irish Orgs, this will be spoken about at the end of the article.



Well eIreland, as it has only been a couple of days since the new government took power, nothing too exciting has happened with the countries money in the sense of tax incomes. However with the recent signing of an agreement to end the hostilities with eSpain and the start of a Training War with eMKD, the DoF expects the following few weeks to see a big change in our tax income.



The main thing to note for this Sunday, is the increase in our 'Opening Balance', this has gone from 451,943.83cc to 484,460.84cc on the securing of all the countries Orgs. Since no list was passed on from the previous government, not all of the Orgs amounts could be counted. But since CP Machiavelli, managed to secure all the Orgs, we could start to count them in the opening balance.

Other worth while notes is the 17,672cc in donations (shown separately on the balance sheet), which 500cc was a gift from Nogin. Which leaves 7,172cc in donations from sources unknown.

Our current tax income at the time of day change is 1,395cc, but this amount is expected to grow as the effects of the region release and TW is felt.

In regards to expenditure, there has only been one MPP signed so far (a renewal of the Australian MPP that was left to lapse last term) which comes in at 10,000cc, however this has been privately covered (it will be shown in the balance sheet after DC with today's taxes).

Other then that, the DoF is keeping a close eye on all money matters at hand. Like we said at the start of the article, with only a few days since hand over, not much has happened financially speaking.



With the securing of the countries Orgs and the slimming down of government over the past few years (due to the game itself), eIreland has been left with quite a few spare Orgs. A suggestion was raised a few terms ago about the idea of renting out spare Orgs (which eIreland once done before), this would allow the nation to keep it's low taxes for the citizens, but obtain extra income via the rent. The rental of these Orgs, will then be used for MPPs, Government programs, AS's and savings.

With this in mind, CP Machiavelli has made available 10 Orgs to be rented out for the low price of 3,000cc per month. This rental agreement will come with it's own terms and conditions and each renter will need to be vetted by congress to ensure that the Org will not be used for illegal activities.

So if your interested in securing an Org to play the Money Market or to use as a 'voice' for an MU or Political Party or for a number of other things, please PM our MoF Rusty D and he will take it to Congress for you.
