[Artela] Terra, UKSF and ESO news

Hopefully everyone has now seen the news regarding the renaming of the alliance we belong to from Panam to Terra. There is, as usual, a lot more detail in Jamesw’s post here. You really should subscribe while you are there to keep up with the latest Terra Alliance news.

The UK Special Forces are moving to a new supply model where soldiers can elect to receive either food or weapons. Rather than repeat the full details here, go and read Jhorlin’s post to get the full lowdown on what is being offered, and if you are interested in joining the UK Armed Forces, follow the link at the bottom of this article.

As per the party constitution, ESO is opening up congress seats that are not already contested to non-members from the smaller parties. If you are interested in standing in any of our vacant slots then just let us know by dropping me a message in-game.

Perhaps I am just getting old and picky, but I feel that there is something not quite right about mixing together international politics with domestic military news and party political material. The last two definitely do not sit well together - we have stated the rationale behind keeping the military apolitical on a number of occasions, so any discussion of congressional election strategies sould really be kept well away from military administration...

Whilst I have no issues wth any of the content (and remain a staunch supporter of Artela and her excellent work), I would feel much more comfortable with the components of this article beng published as independant items.
