Woldy's Angels ~ The Cabinet

Day 1,201, 08:21 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Mr Woldy

The Cabinet!

Howdy chaps, as promised today I’m going to release my cabinet, with a bit of information on who will be doing what and why they have been chosen.

I would however like to start off by offering my condolences to my running rival this month, Artela, who unfortunately couldn’t appear on the ballot due to game mechanics. All you need to know is - blame Jamesw.

There is some irony in the fact that what is now one of the eUK’s only one-man-races is also, for me anyway, one of our most boring elections so far. The only thing that could make it interesting would be a PTO, but we’re savvy enough to avoid them.

If you are reading this without (somehow) having not read my manifesto’s, you can find them here:
Military & Foreign Affairs
and Domestic & Economic Policy.
They make for great reading, trust me.

I would also like to thank TUP, for running me, and BDP, BEP and TRS for backing in the elections. Thanks for all the support. 😉

Great Reading

This Months Cabinet shall consist of the Ministries of Finance, Home Affairs, Foreign Affairs, Defense, Recruitment and Trade. The tech wizards we have been granted in the eUK will be a fringe group of the MoHA working on a domestic hub.

But who have I picked from our plucky population to take charge of these pillars of our esociety?

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs shall continue to be headed by Keram10, he and I have already embarked on a eurocentric project which I hope to speak more about on a later date, and I have full confidence in his ability to head up our Foreign Ministry to the highest of my expectations.

The Ministry of Home Affairs needs someone who can approach the task with the necessary zeal, and, having worked with this certain person in my different capacities in the past I believe he can bring it to the ministry. So, Betafoxtwit will be heading up our domestics this month.

I am glad to announce that Thatcher has agreed to return as Minister of Finance, after taking a short leave sometime last month. Thatcher is a cracking MoF and a pretty good chum, who I am sure will be able to manage our finances well in face of my rampant government spending.

Working closely with Thatcher, will be the Minister of trade, Kevy Shabado who is going to have a somewhat precarious job monitoring markets - notable grain and food markets - and producing pretty graphs of any significant changes over the month.

Talon Karrde will be heading up recruitment this month, with a good knowledge of other gaming sites and forums and with a pretty agenda already drawn up, his application struck me as something that could move the ministry in the right direction, and help us bolster our population.

Finally, Iain Keers will be our ever-plucky minister of Defence this month.

Just kidding, it’s Artela, and we all know she’ll do a great job.

If you want to apply to these ministries (you should) contact the relevant ministers via the links provided.

So that’s the crew, access will be done and I’ll be having a quick chat over the weekend with each and every one of them in order to get the ball rolling. In the meantime, subscribe to this paper, and watch this space!

Thanks for reading.
