[Speaker] Minimum Wage, part 3
Speaker of the House
Evenin lads o/,
Back to the normal org we go - should hopefully see the rest of the 'gov' catch up soon
😛
We celebrate the last few days of democracy by threatening Norway and narrowly accepting and rejecting contradictory minimum wage proposals. Now including AMD’s own contribution:-
Alfag - £500 – Rejected 13-15
MattS1 - £400 – Accepted 16-15
AMD - £1 – Passed (vote ongoing) 24-7
There was initially a bit of confusion on the Greek deal, or lack thereof, but this has been put down to excessive sobriety before sessions. For now the topic turns on what to do with the NHS and potentially NPF too. No doubt Madelina will go bonkers anyway so here we are in public…
Mongress briefly chatted about linking this in with other MoD services but until more beefier contributions I’ll leave this here for now.
Aircraft VAT taxes were also covered by Huey, however the floor seemed to agree it was preferable to keep people warned not to bother with air weps at all.
If mongress can keep the semi-interesting discussion going I should have another article in a few more days o7
Alfag missing term sessions

[Speaker] Act of Dissolution – Rejected [2-14-8]

Where was part 2?
a '?' in the thread
Just a minor correction, the discussion I initiated was primarily in regards to VAT on Aircraft Weapons, not their Import Tax. o7
correcting now; sorry there huey!
After MattS1 passes an eminently sensible minimum wage whuch hurts no one but big employers I see AMD steps in to ensure the little guy loses as always.
Mongress votes to ensure the hogs continue to wallow in the sh...
what "little guy"? The entire reason a 1 minimum wage works is so that any communes can actually function as intended.
The entire reason that communes function is to enrich the person running them.
doesn't mean we have the right to stop those willing to partake, Sexa. It's a free market after all.
Congress needs to get off its ass and find these little people!
Most countries have a government department to deal with these rich commune owners. A set of experienced little people hunters, tasked with finding and feeding them, they are heroes.
UK needs to wake up.
Big if true
Do communes even still exist? Genuine question.
if I remember right some people used to work for each other to avoid work tax
doubt it still goes on - when was the last time we had a survey of sorts?
That evil business tycoon Wonka has all the little guys locked up fudge packing in the his satanic chocolate factory. I watched a documentary on it the other day the place was a fecking disgrace, slave labour, animals handling food not to mention the pollution, you should have seen what the buggers done to the local river!
Horice ☠
There are many jobs over 400 on the market, even with a 1 cc minimum wage being the law, I don't see the problem.
Work tax is at one percent, it's not worth denying people the right to help their mates out for free to net us an extra 100cc or something.
I only pay in 7cc per work and I get paid oodles.
that was meant to be in response to apples, I ballsed it up
I tend to agree - so long as newbies know what they're signing up for we shouldn't interfere
