Today we lost.

Spain attacked the Brazilian Occupied Canary Islands and won.
Mexico attacked Missouri and won.
Spain attacked Missouri and won.

Aside from these losses, one situation stands out amongst them.
France, after valiantly fighting against dual Spanish and Polish attacks, was wiped from the map, after Poland conquered Poitou Charentes, and Spain conquered Paris Isle of France.

Today was a defeat on the part of Terra. Our superpowers are under assault, and many of our allies lie struggling against formidable opponents bent on the destruction of all the individuals whom we hold dear. Yet we, as Americans, are in a better situation than many of our allies, for one reason. We have been given valuable time. We have seen the powers of ONE. As a country, we need to put aside the political differences that have captivated us over the last few months, and use this incredibly valuable lesson. We need to focus on moving every American to a military unit, albeit Army, JCS, Militia, whatever’s needed. We need to boost retention. We need to recruit from out of eRepublik.

If we fail to react and prepare for our turn, then we will not simply have lost the war comrades. What’s at stake in this conflict isn’t just a handful of resources, or a couple of regions. Our very future hangs in the balance of this era, of this war. We could lose every single province, and still come out stronger than ever, and we’ve nearly done it before. But this is not just a test of our military strength as a nation. This is a test of our ability to be a nation. And it is one that we cannot fail.
United We Stand,
Divided, We Fall.

In response to recent Military Events, the eUnited States government has gone into a flurry of activity in an attempt to ready ourselves for any eventuality. There are two main ones that I’d like to highlight.

Arm America has been extended to cover the weekend, which means they will be distributing food and weapons in #defense at various times during the day. If you’re under level 22, then you can apply here for assistance. Anyone else can report to #defense for supplies and information.

The Department of Interior is also on the ball, throwing up a program to give moving tickets and instructions to all American citizens who have found themselves stuck in an occupied state. If you need tickets to move back to Amerika, fill out this form.
If you find yourself in a state that might be under attack, and feel you wish to hoof it out of there, send a message to the DoI organization requesting tickets. If the state you’re in is under attack, and you can’t wait for the DoI response, talk to any government official you can find. Hell, you could send a message to me and I’d give you a ticket to get out of the state. It’s substantially easier to get out of a state prior to occupation then after occupation, due to the rule that you cannot move to a country at war with the country you’re currently in. It goes from moving from Kentucky to California, to moving from Kentucky to Colombia back to California.
