The eUnited States Armed Forces Boot Camp has gotten off to a bang, with over 50 troops having already enrolled or graduated from the program. Now that we're running full steam we thought we'd take a moment and introduce ourselves to the nation at large.

For starters, I'm Lieutenant Colonel Necros Xiaoban, the Boot Camp executive officer, and I run the program with Colonel Firo Prochainezo, my boss and Boot Camp commander. We're together assisted by the always knowledgeable lietk12 (who we really ought to give a promotion to sometime 😛 ). Jointly we've managed to plan, organize and create a first class training program for all citizens, new and old alike.

The Boot Camp was formed in response to the creation of a new national military, and the need for an in-house training program to adequately prepare citizens for service. There have been many, many such programs over the years that have had great success but when we set out to create the Boot Camp instead of simply emulating them we sought to draw from our experiences and create something new, and hopefully better. As such, you'll find there aren't any forms to fill out during your time in Boot Camp. There won't be any tests, either. We teach you what you need to know, and through direct observation are able to to follow your progress and make the decision to transfer you into the main Army division.



That's another thing. The Boot Camp will not hold you a day longer than we have to. Our goal is to prepare you as quickly as possible for life in the military, and set you on your way. You won't have to wait in a training division for weeks or months for a higher branch to call you up... We're going to force them to take you!

We've put together a great set of guides to teach you the basics of military life, usage of the forums and our internet chat system, and how to fight effectively. All along the way our helpful staff is available to answer any questions you may have.



If you want to apply to the Boot Camp, its dead easy! Simply apply to the Boot Camp Military Unit and we'll take it from there! If, however, you think you know your way around the place, you can apply for direct placement into a regular Army unit here. We take everyone, and I do mean everyone, so feel free to apply today.
