Impasse: You've Reached It

Gentlemen, and Jerseygirl,

There comes a time in everyone's Erepublik careers where you reach a point of no return. I've seen many successful campaigns waged across every continent. I've seen Asia destroyed, and occuped for months. I've seen North America, with the exception of Mexico (since they chose a different side) decimated to one region. I've seen Europe torn to shreds by two countries, and two countries alone (when MPP rules were actually not retarded). You're about to reach a point of no return again, and this time it won't be on some foreign continent. It will be in our own backyard.

Spain and Mexico are currently marching through the homeland. Mexico is tearing up the midwest, setting fire to everyone's crops and that one tree in Kansas (when they get there). If Scrabman were here, I'd make a joke about Kansas being the Alamo, but I'm afraid no one would get it. Spain is cruising around the South, trying to figure out what the word "Redneck" actually means. I hear they even bought Pit Passes to the NASCAR circuit, so they plan on staying a while. Poland, Macedonia, Serbia, Turkey, and Spain are carving up most Terra and EDEN countries in Europe outside of Ireland (lol), and the United Kingdom (which is probably next). Essentially, it's time to assess where we are, and how we got here.

The US Military is a secondary concern. While I still hold the opinion that each and every asset, piece of gold, and dollar that lies within those Organizations belongs to the United States and is being held ransom under the guise of "bringing Emerick back to the negotiation table", frankly I don't personally care, or lose any sleep over them. You might be asking, considering it's a few thousand gold pieces worth, why that is?

Well, the reasoning is simple. This game is indeed cyclical, and at some point Terra and EDEN will manage to remove their heads from their orifices and figure out how to push the buttons at the same time, and the right time. The problem, however, is that if you wait too long for that to happen, you'll end up not having any treasuries to generate income, you won't have MPPs, which are far more efficient than trying to mobilize 5,000 soldiers. You'll basically be a floating Alliance.

If you ask ONE, this is what Terra and EDEN's Keyboards look like

Let's face some very simple facts. ONE's national armies are, by an average, far stronger than Terra's and EDEN's, even probably combined. There are roughly 7-8 countries associated directly with ONE, which include Poland, Serbia, Spain, Hungary, Macedonia, Turkey, Sweden, and Indonesia. There are some satellite states, both those are your main players. All of them, strike Sweden, can do a lot of coordinated damage in a hurry if they have to. Their big 4 have enough Military power to match all of Terra, and all of EDEN separately, and they can do so through 4 MPPs. Terra and EDEN have to keep, at minimum, 15 MPPs to even think about matching their damage.

This means battle coordination becomes that much more important, but even then, all that ONE has to do is open a few drain battles, and even more importantly, they don't have to win them all to be successful. Mexico's goal will, more than likely, take the Western Half of the United States. Spain will take the South and East, and they'll probably attempt to RW the Canadian held regions to open the Polish borders back up, giving Poland the North and East. In the process, they'll probably open fronts in the UK to drain damage, further cutting off allied damage, and have Spain continue to cockblock Brazil. The only real front ONE has to face is Brazil, otherwise, they are under no true threat, meaning their damage is concentrated.

At this point, it matters not whether you like Bradree or not, or the Old Military, or the New Military, or belong to a militia. It matters not whether you're French, Brazilian, Canadian, Rumanian, Finn, Norwegian, Croatian, Brown, Blue, Black, Purple, or White. The only thing that matters is that you find a way to get your country to focus all of their damage in the same spots, and teach your newbies how to fight.
