Day 726, 09:59 Published in Canada Canada by Fred_the_deadhead

I clicked on a few articles today, but I was too late to join in the fun.

I started reading an article by Jayson V

http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/prime-minister-insults-new-canadian-1032079/1/20

and then I was concerned. And intrigued. I wanted to know what the hell was happening in our eworld. Why someone would lead me to believe that our PM was a childish person apt to utilize governmental powers to reduce some citizen to rubble.
So I did a little more clicking. I found my way to what I believe was the article that started this mess

http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/william-duncan-and-the-freemasons-1030671/1/all

and was somewhat dissmayed at what I read from the prespective of Acacia Mason. Of course, as with any media outlet, I took what I read with a grain of salt. After all, I had only heard one side of the story and therefore would have been biased.
So onward I clicked

and I found that our PM has a slight temper. William Duncan responded to an article written about his words and actions.
I read WD's article with a slight grin on my face. Why? because I was happy that we live in an esociety where anything goes. Our PM can be just like everyone else; he can be as childish and vindictive as he chooses.
Of course every action has a reaction. And what a reaction this little show has received!

Some want to oust WD for his words, some disregard Acacia. Some won't even get involved in the converstaion. Some cheer Acacia, some cheer WD.

This is my attempt at netruality.

WD- you have some valid points, and chose some harsh wording. All in all, you have every right to an opinion and every right to voice it. Being our PM, maybe not the best choice of outlet, but what's done is done, and I respect the fact that you did it. Best of luck to you, sir.

Acacia- You brought to light a world that I did not know existed. You voiced your concerns in an open forum, and received much respect for it. You took advantage of the right to freedom of speech, but your words were, seemingly, misunderstood and as such caused some backlash. You've got my attention.
