William Duncan And The Freemasons

Day 723, 16:00 Published in Canada Canada by Acacia Mason

This reporter has once again been reminded of why he has a hard time supporting a government led by Mr. William Duncan. In an article written earlier in the day, Mr. Duncan had the following to say:

Look! It's a secret cabinet! How totally not Orwellian of you.

And guess what's more? The Freemason loves the secret cabinet concept!

So many surprises today: Banach shrouds himself in secrecy and the Freemason guy thinks it "looks good.""
----William Duncan

I have always believed that a Prime Minister or a President has a responsibility and a duty to respect and lead his or her people regardless of race, colour, creed, religion, orientation or political/fraternal affiliations. As a public figurehead and a leader you would expect that comments such as those uttered by Mr. Duncan, would be strictly off limits. You may think them, you may feel them, but when your in office, you most certainly do not print them!

Mr. Duncan clearly feels he knows a great deal about Freemasonry and why wouldn't he? He is not a member, he knows little to nothing about it, and yet he clothes himself as though he is somehow knowledgeable on the subject. His comments about Freemasonry extend to the eCanada forums in which he used the derogatory term, "Mastah Mason Man", to refer to me. I find it disrespectful and tasteless. You may be wondering what I called him and you might be even more surprised to learn that I extended him every professional courtesy of his office. I referred to him as Rt. Hon or Mr. Prime Minister and other such things. I on the other hand am known as "Mastah Mason Man". Not Acacia, not citizen of eCanada, not even Mr...no sir, I am Mastah Mason Man.

Not content to simply made remarks about me, in the same comment he attacks a well known and respected eCanadian in Banach. What was Banach's crime to warrant such remarks? Banach posted his cabinet structure and some cabinet names for the coming election for CP. Am I reading that right...William Duncan, the same guy who did not see fit to post a cabinet or platform until the 11th hour is now criticizing a politician who posts his well in advance thus exposing himself to public criticism and questioning? Did you really make a smart remark about someone who did what you failed to do?

In my humble opinion, a CP needs to be above reproach. He/she must act with maturity and grace at all times. Biting their tongue when needed and speaking out when its appropriate. Mr. Duncan, I truly question your maturity as an individual. I expect so much more from those who lead this country. All you managed to do today was solidify my reasons for not being able to support you.

Oh and for the record, these remarks come at a time when I am away in Malaysia fighting for the very country you lead in the very army you command. At a time when you call on your citizens to respect and show support for those of us overseas, you slyly slide the knife between my shoulder blades.

I am embarrassed to be led by you...and you should be embarrassed too!

From the front lines of Malaysia and yours in National Unity,

Acacia Mason
