Undecided on Election Day?
Mr Woldy
Good morning! The 5th has come around again, and that means one thing - Presidential Elections! The CP (Country President) is someone elected to lead the Country (or try to…) and forms a Cabinet who assists in undertaking core functions of the Government.
In this article I’m not going to beat around the bush or try to trick you, the reader, I’m just going to give you the top 3 reasons to vote AMD today.
AMD wants to raise standards.
Whether it is transparency, accountability, activeness or conduct of cabinet members, standards have dropped. AMD has written up his pledges, has new policies, and commits to being held to account by re-introducing basic standards of transparency. We need to raise the bar on our standards around governance and a vote for Huey just lets it keep slipping down. You have a choice between change or complacency!
AMD has a cabinet, and it is actually an active one.
Hueys cabinet has all but vanished, and those who are left seem to think the sum of their ministerial work is to shout a couple of times and then check out - if we hear from them at all. AMD has got a team of nine ready to take up Cabinet positions and to actually run a Government that works. He has outlined his plans for what they’ll be doing, so a vote for AMD is a vote to see what a good Government actually looks like (definitely worth a shot!).
AMD has new ideas.
You can’t miss his manifestos in the media feed, which place extra emphasis on financial transparency and actually answering Congress questions - your representatives cannot hold the Gov accountable if the Gov doesn’t talk to them, so committing to an open dialogue is sorely needed. Not only that but there is a whole raft of Domestic programs to encourage and support players of all levels. Rather than elect a CP that reacts to TRS and only manages to semi-deliver on new schemes, why not elect a proactive Government bringing ideas on the table that has the manpower to deliver?
That’s my top three. It’s been a stark month for followers of the eUK’s politics, with a definite air of ‘last days of Rome’ about it. Your vote will endorse one of two visions of the eUK. One is of complacency and dogma, voting for the same person out of habit even when the wheels have totally come off. The other is an endorsement of competition and the basic idea that people should be working for your vote. There is an ambitious and active Cabinet waiting in the wings should AMD win, so I definitely urge you to give him your vote and see what a fully formed and dedicated Cabinet can achieve here in the eUK. Try it for a month, what's the harm, You might even like it!
If you need any more reasons the aforementioned manifesto’s can be found here, here and here. We need to break the cycle of managed decline and make sure resources are going to newer players as well as older ones. It will not happen if you do not vote for it.
Have an exciting election day!

Whoops didn’t mean to endorse 50gbp I’m not acc a cheapskate
wow
You forgot point 4.
Points 1-3 have already been tried to a greater or lesser extent in the 10 years or so I've been in the game and every time they've been tried they've failed miserably.
Notwithstanding the manifestos all relate to today's game and not the game of years ago, how can efforts to do more than bare-minimum-government fail and by what measure? The gov delivering on its promises whatever they may be is a baseline expectation, it is only a failure to not deliver it (which is what is currently happening).
failure to not deliver?
Oops - accidentally double negatived it. I meant failure to deliver baseline activities (whatever we consider the baseline to be) is what failing looks like
The only reason you've never failed to deliver is no member of this version of Spam has ever been elected to CP.
Are you saying more people should be given a chance to fail
I mean you’re just wrong with that statement “no member has ever been elected”
