I'd like to start of by thanking eUS President Artela for her cooperation with this article, and I would also like to thank Inwegen (USWP PP), David Wilson (AMP PP), Kemal Ergenekon (inci PP), and chickensguys (US Marijuana Party PP)for their comments. Greene12 Fed Party President had not answered requests for a comment at the time this article was published.
In a recent interview President Artela confirmed the speculation that she plans to seek reelection again in May. When asked to comment on her performance this term she had the following to say,
"We have kept the 100/100 bonuses I inherited by extending the NAP with Spain, we rescued the Canadians from the clutches of the eUK, and now we're about to embark on a new adventure over on continental mainland Europe. So we have achieved quite a bit and have plans to achieve even more in the coming month."
The President was then asked to rate her administration's performance. Her response was both optimistic and humble when she said,
"We did good enough to carry on for a second term, but a CP is only as good as the team they surround themselves with, so I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank my awesome cabinet and their staff."
In a recent article by Dru Blood he insinuates the President and USWP are engaged in a PTO of the eUS. The President responded by calling the accusations laughable, and told me:
"I have been in eAmerica since July of last year - I have been proud to be in Terra for longer than that. My highest damage ever in a campaign was for eAmerica. I have poured hours upon hours into supporting eAmerica. Anyone who actually knows me knows just how laughable the accusations are. I have been proud to be in Terra for quite some time. When the eUK left Terra I was heartbroken, but stuck with my eCountry and even became the CP and tried to steer a course of neutrality."
The President, a real life Briton currently residing in Wales, then went onto to give her reasons for leaving the eUK and defecting to the eUS.
"After my term ended the country went more towards ONE and even MPP'd Poland. With that and the many trolls eUK had at the time it was no longer somewhere I wanted to stay. I had offers from many countries in Terra as new place to move to, but my ties with the people in the eUSA, forged in the days when I was Terra SC and dSG."
The Economy and Party Politics
The President when asked if she planned on changing economic policy as a result of changes to economic module responded that there would be no changes from her administration and went on to say, "We don't really have any issues to address from it. Our congress and their economic advisors have the fiscal affairs of the USA well under control."
The President was then asked what she thought about politics and the recent congressional elections. She states, "There needs to be more cooperation between the top five parties to help keep America safe from PTO. There are ever-present threats these days that need to be guarded against. Also, the parties need to educate their new Congressmen better when they get them elected - well informed Congressmen make the running of Congress smoother."
When asked what they thought of the President's remarks concerning politics all four responding Party President's agreed with her remarks.
Inwegen of the USWP had the following to say, "It's a spot-on assessment. Even the placement of blockers has become more of a struggle every month. There are various reasons for that and every month has it's unique situations, but the bottom line is it's becoming more and more difficult as it seems the game is past its peak and the playerbase slowly dies away. The party needs to not only reach out to new players to candidate/block, but to educate them on how to conduct and election campaign properly. Education is key and it can be done on both a national and party level. Everyone must cooperate to make this happen efficiently."
Kemal Ergenekon of inci also agree with the President and went on to say, "In the past few months, the top 5 parties have consistently let PTO threats and rogue congressmen become candidates. There are two different forces at work here.
One force is the unwillingness to give up some votes to help prevent PTO threats get into the congress, which allows them to use their CSs and law proposals against the best interests of our country. What needs to be done here is to have top 5 parties promise a certain number of votes dedicated to this purpose.
The second force is the endorsement of former EDEN citizens as congressman against the party's enemies so that they can reduce the number of congressmen the opposing party can get elected, as well as reducing the number of free votes that could have been used against them. This dirty tactic is most prominently employed by AMP.
Unless these issues are resolved, eUS is going to be an even less secure country with each passing day."
David Wilson of AMP responded by saying, "Rogue congressmen and PTO threats are generally considered those who ignore the forum guidelines for congress and immigration. They use their citizenship passes for whoever they like (often ONE or iNCi) without consulting IES and waste their law proposals on unapproved Natural Enemies, Allies, Taxes, or Donations from the country accounts, etc. Most parties have a history of allowing 1 or 2 in each month. Sometimes they are easy to predict, other times they are surprises.
This month, the iNCi congress members have been especially bad about following IES guidelines and have been approving more iNCi citizenship in droves. They have approved over 50 iNCi citizenship in 2 days with no regard for IES. Pearlowl, MT2X, anthrax reyiz, cCC Iskender Buyuk cCC, Weezly, IsoTrk, SantaAndrei, and Edward LoCo (Federalist) have been the worst offenders."
As you can see from the comments above political cooperation and respect are the best they have ever been in the eUS.
The President's Foreign Affairs!
As most of you know by now eChile was kicked out of Terra because eArgentina's ePeen is bigger. When asked about the situation and the war between the two countries the President gave the following statement,
"I was appalled. It should never be a case that someone in an alliance is given less support by that alliance than someone from outside of that alliance. An alliance should be a brotherhood where all stand together against the rest of the eWorld.
Due to game mechanics we cannot hold MPPs with both sides and in order to maintain a coherent MPP stack we are MPP'd with our partner alliance Eden. This means that we have an MPP with Argentina rather than with Chile, however we are not actively fighting against Chile or supporting Argentina when they do." In other words, eArgentina can suck it!*

The President of eTurkey was recently banned for game exploits. The President was asked what she thought of the ban. She stated "It was welcomed. Maybe it will help to ease tensions a little now."
When asked if she was referring to tension between the eUS and eTurkey over threats made against eRussia she responded by saying,
"Russia and USA have had a close relationship for some time, and they are also in our alliance (Terra). As I said earlier, an alliance should be a brotherhood where all stand by each other. I believe in that strongly enough to make sure the eWorld knows that USA stands by its alliance brothers during my administration."

I basically think Artela has done a good job in office, but the government can and should do what it can to deal with falling prices. The VAT tax is such that we cannot clear out low-ball offers on the market without selling back at a loss when the prices keep falling a cent a day. The government can help by buying goods off the market and using those goods to support the military. We've tried to explain simple Keynesian methods to the elite before, they don't want to listen.

Solid article as always. Our current president seems content to ride the coat tails of Oblige following through with work he set down and keeping the status quo of packing the government with the same old faces who do the same old disservice.
iNCi is the kinda friends we need to start parting company with. They have proven sense day one of coming here that they are unable to follow even basic procedures and yet we keep giving them money and a safe haven.
