Yes, clearly those shackles were forced on their wrists, being that we took 2 weeks, several votes, and even as noted, used the word "please" in asking those people to change parties. No one has been forced to change parties, and in a few hours a vote will happen to elect a new leader.

Good luck, but perhaps you should have started without pissing all over those who came before you. You used to say you were about unifying the country, but all I have seen in the past months from you is divisiveness. I had really hoped your brief furlough would have changed that. For shame.

You were never a member of the CNC Etemenaki. Your party was the CSD - the same party which now stands to benefit from this most heinous act and is attempting to impose it's will upon other citizens by having the name of this once glorious party changed to "Move to EPIC Please". If some players wish to move to EPIC than that is fine - but to impose the views of a few onto the many is wrong!

The eRepublik rules are very clear on this matter as I outlined very clearly in this article.

Unless you can prove that EVERY member of the CNC VOTED for this than your accusations without proof are unfounded and your sentiment is merely a display of your disappointment of not being able to siphon off more CNC members into your new "EPIC" party.

I for one will not stand for such divisive acts of tyranny!

And I NEVER ONCE said I was for "unifying the country".
That is for people who make signatures that say "In National Unity", or "In Unity We Trust" or whatever other cliche you like.

When you change the name of the party to "move to another party please", it is a form of coercion or imposing your will upon another citizen by way of coercion.

If that is your definition of coercion or imposition, then the very act of living and communicating must be very difficult for you by other means.

Being as you were not a member of the CNC either, how can you say that they were not? You are as lacking in the details as I am. Me, I rely on the party president and the party vice president to tell me that their members voted in favour of a merger, but perhaps you should ask them before saying so. You are also well aware there is no way in which any party can operate with the full vote of all it's members, as many members do not bother to go to forums. Of course, since the merger was a large part of the discussion when they chose a party president, one could argue the choice of party president they made was a form of ratification of it.

Oh, yes you have Tyler. You said such to me back about 5 months ago when I stayed up a good chunk of the night debating Rylde in regards to the Crimson Canucks when they got into trouble over something.

I personally sent a message to every single member of the former CNC. I asked them to join EPIC, but i was VERY clear that they are free to do whatever the hell they want. And thats why "Please" was put into the name on purpose.

And every member of the CNC had as much chance as any other to vote on the merger into EPIC. However there is no compulsory voting in either eRepublik or in the party. If only a "select few" choose where the party would go, thats because they took the initiative and werent apathetic.

Tyler, I thouht you were a decent guy. But all I can see from this is that you wait until the 14th to find a party that you think is the weakest so that you can PTO it. All you are is an opportunistic politician who is just looking to gain political power at any cost. You've sunk low my friend, don't do this.

As the current Party President of "Move to EPIC Please" i endorse Charlie Robertson. Although he is a new player, he is the only candidate who isn't running just to gain political power or pad their resumes. Charlie Robertson genuinely cares about his party, and he is infinitely better than any opportunistic careerist like TFD.

How can anyone run for PP and not try to gain politcal power?
If you don't want TFD to be the PP don't vote for him and stop whining.

And do you know that the CNC also tried to merge with other parties before? It's not a spontaneous action. The CPP refused it, the CSD has accepted their offer. Also, there were polls in each forums, bunch of articles in the media, discussions about this on IRC (even on #eCan).

Please, make us a favor: gain political points on what you are and not by bashing other people. You said that dirty politics killed the last elections, you publicly said that you were against it and that you dislike it, you even left the game. Move from words to deeds. That will be good for everyone including yourself.
