Here we go again; the government did not do the honorable thing, and sided with the aggressor.
After reading the MoD’s message to ePoland I am really disappointed.

“Greetings, citizens of Poland
I am writing this as the representative for the eUnited Kingdom and the Minister of Defence and Foreign Affairs.
Firstly, I would like to stress that the current eUK Government is not the same as the old one. We have a new President with new morals and a stronger commitment to our Allies.
That being said, we did not condone the signing of an MPP with Germany; those were the mistakes of the last Government and we wish to make amends for those mistakes. We will be sending our Elite Soldiers to defend Brandenburg to defend it – that we can promise you Poland!
We can only say sorry for the mistakes of the old Government, but Poland, you can now safely say that the eUK is an Ally you can TRUST! We will defend Brandenburg, and we will defend Poland.
I hope that our two great Nations can now re-build the strong bond that was once between us,

First of all, eGermany is the victim of the story. Despite of the history, eGermany was brutally attacked and invaded by eSweden and ePoland. Second it is nations like ePoland which speed the death of ATLANTIS. Third, if anyone needs to apologize and explain themselves it is definitely the eSwedes and the ePoles and NOT US. We made NO mistakes and no error other than not defending actively against injustices which was inflicted by the Swedes and Poles towards the eGermans.
This is shameful and disgusting. At least Sara Droz’s inaction was better than actively aiding the oppressors against our friends. What is wrong with you guys. Are we still in the mindset that we must fight against PEACE? Why are we betraying our true friends, the Germans for a two faced friends like Sweden and Poland in which if we blindly support them or we are the enemy.
Many people here in eUK express their desire for a stable and free eGermany with its entire region intact. But instead of doing what the people want, our desires are ignored and tossed away forgotten. Sara Droz’s appeasement policies is picnic compared to this.
The eUK citizens are strong noble and honourable peoples. We are tolerant and long for justice and peace. However, this cannot be said about the eUK government. Instead of standing up against injustice and illegal aggression, they apologized for not aiding them in their war of aggression sooner. Now when the government is acting, it goes on the unjust side.
Also in a time in which ATLANTIS is dead, PEACE might attack eUSA??? Going against PEACE and siding with the trouble makers is not a good idea. Either they are extremely dumb, or they are geniuses, but siding with Poland will result in a disaster. In my opinion, it is already a disaster as the government is spineless.
Apologizing to Poland... What are we doing?
Update: It seems that this article caused such a commotion that the government itself is responding with their own articles. To be fair, I think you should also read their explanation and you, the reader, decide the what is right for eUK. Their explanation.

Well said Konrad. I'm struggling to understand why the government is taking this position towards the situation in Germany. It doesn't even seem selfish.
It's more than a bit unnerving when the Polish know about our position towards them before we do.

It is undeniable that the vast majority of people in the UK who have voiced their opinion, believe that we should be helping Germany.
I used to feel the that eUK should be doing more to help eGermany, but after reading some well considered articles on both sides of the argument I can see how it might be in the eUK's best interest to not actively support eGermany.

This is a really disappointing move by the government. I think more disappointing beyond the lack of knowledge by the public is the fact that this goes against the majority of the vocal public's wishes. The majority of people seem to support the cause of eGermany, and if that is the case, the government certainly shouldn't be supporting the aggressors against eGermany

The fail here is that we don't have a Ministry of Defense. We have a Ministry of Defence.
Even I am currently struggling to understand the knowledge behind these actions. But I'll hesitate before jumping to conclusions, as I know the MoD and co. well enough to know that there must be something behind the scenes for them to do what they've done.
I hoped with Kumnaa we would see an end to this kind of thing, but it's only gotten worse. Once again the government is completely oblivious of what it's people want. I will not let this issue rest.

I think it's a clash of perspective. Citizens see it as an outrage to their morality while the big wigs who may be doing what's the best for their nation according to game mechanics.
y do we all way manage to mess everything up. just support eGermany and fight against ePoland. a government should follow the views of it people. most/all of us are on eGermany side here

All of you are blind to reprimand our officials for their insight and thought out decisions. We must support our allies, and the fact that we failed to do so before should be reason for embarrassment. I am glad to see that our allies in Poland are recieving our support now.

As a citizen of the UK, I don't care what is overall in our best interests. I don't care that it would be more beneficial to side with Poland. What I care about is that Polish and Swedish governments are scumbags. They have no respect among people like me. I would sacrifice everything for Germany and am ashamed by my government's failure to represent its own people.

Why don't you argue your position and explain the government's plan and action. Telling us to think of the issue... is lame. You should not treat us as some dumb ignorant people that do not think. I honestly think the government is heading in the wrong path, but what you are implying is that if it goes against the will of the government, you are inexperienced and not thinking... you don't know what is going on in reality.
The honourable comment also is lame. Instead of using this situation to argue your position, you just pushed it aside and say something stupid which only enhance the ill feeling of the government.
What happen here is very interesting, Many citizens of UK addressed their concerns and instead of listening and addressing their worries, you just kind of say, too bad, we know what is going on and you don't" Instead of resolving the conflict, you add insult to injury. I think you guys missed a great chance to heal the PR problems with your citizens/ voters.

Interesting comments; and yes I believe the politicians need to be a little more informative than they have been. But it is endemnic of the contempt that some of our political elite hold the electorate in. Instead of listening to the people, the elite of our nation just decide what is right and to heck with the opinions of the public. Now I know there may be factors unknown to us as to why we have gone down this route, but when the public is almost screaming out to support Germany, don't you think it is appropriate to provide some information...
To be quite honest, I think a few issues raised by Dish in his article have proved a good point. There are things behind the scenes that need to be taken into account, but I think the government should definatly spend more time trying to inform it's citizens of it's actions, rather than letting people assume reasons.
The UK Gvt will be informed that
if UK paratroopers will fight against Italy defending Poland, we will consider the UK-Italy friendship treaty violated

For the true citizens of UK : In an alliance there are discussions at military level that do not reach the ears of the "common people".
Some actions may seem strange unless you know all the details .

In the government's response to this article, they claim that they are doing Realpolitik to save eUK from a less than promising future. Going back to ex-ATLANTIS states is not Realpolitik. While we can keep old friends, what real Realpolitik will be working or joining PEACE.
Nixon Realpolitik did not go and work with Western Europe but the Soviets and the Chinese. Helping ePoland is not Realpolitik but a political and military blunder.

I think we should be supporting eGermany and not ePoland, I'm fairly new to the game but I don't like the look of ePoland right about now, I don't think eGermany are getting out of this one 🙁
