Party Update, and Alliance Shakeups

Kia Ora Fgts.

I would first like to say a brief word of thanks to all of the folks who voted for myself and Gaius Marcus. We were the two candidates running from the Kiwi Revolution Party (formerly Sweet Sixteen) in the Congressrace earlier this week. It is interesting to note that, despite being the #5 party, we were the only one to elect every candidate who ran under our party. That's very awesome.

Riding this wave of success, the KRP has once again changed names. We are now the New Zealand Solidarity Union. You can read more on what the NZSU is all about in Gaius' Manifesto for the party. Individuals who are interested in participating in the party can contact Gaius or myself.

New Zealand President Don KronoX ran a food-distribution program today to encourage New Zealanders in fighting for his home country of Solvenia against Italy via MPP. The President reports a great success with the program, distributing food to 40 NZDF members and over 20 civillians. He said also, speaking with Weekend Update, that today's efforts revealed a need for greater production in the food and weapons industries. Citizens who are interested in joining the NZDF are encouraged to fill out the following application: http://tinyurl.com/nzdf-signup

Now we move on to international news that will surely affect New Zealan😛 a big shakeup in the alliances. First, it was announced just today that the United States, Brazil, and Argentina would form the core of a new alliance called PANAM. This alliance will be one to watch, as their actions could impact our neighbors in South America. New Zealand would also be the most likely route for Brazil or Argentina if they wanted to attack Indonesia.

As one alliance arose today, one also fell. Leaders in Serbia and Hungary announced that both nations will withdraw from the Phoenix alliance, and predict most others will do the same shortly. Phoenix, the successor to the former PEACE G.C. alliance, was led by nations such as Hungary, Serbia, and Indonesia.

St Krems, a PANAM spokesman and American MoFA, gave the following statement on the situation: "HUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUAHUEHUA"

This concludes today's edition of Weekend Update.
