Victory in Jharkhand

The most recent stop in our Asian campaign was the battle in Jharkhand, a high-wood region originally belonging to India but long held by Iran. Just like in the earlier battle for Liaoning, this battle happened entirely on foreign soil and activated no mutual protection pacts. A crippling blow was dealt to Iran by denying them an iron-rich region, and this win cuts Iran off from yet another raw material.

The Guns for Huns (renamed to be appropriate for the occasion) program here operated for the first day of the battle. Much of the fight overlapped with eRepublik server outages, so the conclusion of the battle happened while no one could fight in it. For the hours the servers were working, the United States and its military had a strong showing in the skirmish.



25th Congress of the eUnited States

Congressional elections were held on Christmas Day. Congressional recess ended yesterday, and the following individuals are reporting in to conduct the activities of the legislative branch.

eUS Lottery

The eUS Lottery will be running again, and this time the game is 4-3 Blitz. Tickets can be bought for 0.05 Gold each until rollover to Day 771. Read this article for rules and details.



Liaoning Recap

Our side fought valiantly and won a major victory against Iran at Liaoning. On the same day, we were able to deploy reserve forces to Iran and win resistance wars to free the remaining Iranian-held regions in East Asia. Without access to a high iron region, the Iranian economy is expected to shrink significantly. The United States then attempted to remove the Russian PTO of North Korea by claiming its regions by first land-swapping with China at Jilin. Hungarian-occupied Heilongjiang borders Jilin, and the Hungarians were able to attack before Jilin was traded back to China. To prevent a Hungarian advance through American-occupied Chinese regions, Liaoning was returned to China in a resistance war. The coastal provinces of Shandong and Jiangsu were returned to China in another land-swap, and we swapped with China for control of Tibet again after it was lost in a resistance war.



eUS Military Recruitment

The eUS military is divided into six branches with progressively higher strength, rank, and activity requirements. Some of these branches will be expanding, making this a great opportunity to join up. Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Gaius Julius has provided a good outline of each of these branches and application links in his recent article. Individuals wanting to join the eUS military with no prior service will start in the Training Corps, and their application is here.



North American University
