July 5th - Cabinet Release
Sperry
The Campaign Trail:
July 5th - Sperry & TemujinBC
Demand the Best - Accountable, Quality Leadership
The Most Powerful Button - Why Community Comes First
As all of the parties are approaching the decision for who they will endorse as Canada's next President, it's due time that Tem & I announce our 8-member Cabinet. We would like to present to you some of the most active, passionate, and qualified minds to be had in eCanada - our Cabinet for July 2011!
Vice President: TemujinBC
Temujin has done it all. While holding no official position, the man is a gathering banner for his fellow Crimsons, and can single-handedly rival the military output of nations. He brings an outstanding level of experience and dedication to this game, and a lighthearted approach that is a welcome relief in troubling times.
Minister of Defence: SilencerII
Silencer brings the experience and dedication necessary in an MoD. He has worked his way up the military module and is currently one of the 6 sitting Brigadier Generals of the CAF High Command. Silencer understands the mechanics of this game, as well as how they apply to the diverse geopolitical problems this world can conjure up. To top it all off, he's twice served in Congress, rounding off the multi-faceted perspective needed in a military leader.
Minister of Foreign Affairs: Fox Blutch
A former CP himself, Fox knows all too well the importance of an active and committed MoFA. He brings to the table experience in literally every level of Canadian politics, and has been a positive presence here for nearly 3 years. Fox's wide range of experiences provides him with the essential understanding that - in this game - success comes by bringing different camps together on a common ground. As an MoFA in a time of war, he will be invaluable for Canada.
Ministers of Communication: M. Loiselle & Ethel Rosenberg
The confusion of the past several weeks makes the presence of strong, qualified Communicators an essential part of any cabinet. Every level of Canadian society requires accurate, detailed, and timely information to keep our nation together. M. Loiselle and Ethel represent everything you can ask of MoCs.
Ethel, in her short time here, has reached out to a myriad of communities in order to immerse herself in the eCanadian experience. She has served in 2 Cabinets already, as well as Congress and the Ambassadors' Corps. Recently, she also became the Vice President of her party.
M. Loiselle has followed a similar path in his 2 years in this game. He's served in Congress many, many times, and has also worked his way to become one of Canada's foremost soldiers. He's served in a number of MUs, but most recently heads up the presigious MFC, bringing yet another layer of experience to his ever-widening involvement.
Minister of Information: Wally Cleaver
You cannot make a list of prominent new players without Wally's name. He is passionate about this game and commits himself to building strong bonds with Canadians regardless of their political or ideological alignments. He is, truly, an Everyman.
The Ministry of Information, sometimes used as a redub of the MoC, will serve a special purpose this term. Under Wally, the MoI will seek out this game's most prized resource: information. There are countless caves of information to be found, and in a game with many tens of thousands more players than the few dozen that most of us know, there are always different or better ways to tackle national problems. Other nations use this information to their advantage, using resources and responding to trends that they would otherwise be oblivious to. We cannot pass on such a valuable opportunity. Such is the goal of the Ministry of Information.
Minister of Finance: Etemenanki
When it comes to experienced, dedicated players, very few outstrip Etemenanki. He has served an entire year in Congress, and worked almost as long in a variety of Cabinets. Most importantly, he is moral, accountable, and responsive. In an era where trust has become something of a luxury item, these are fantastic qualities to find in a player with as full a resume as Etemenanki.
When you go to the polls next week, make sure you vote for a candidate that represents what you want out of this game.
Demand what you deserve. Demand the best.

All you need is love. Love is all you need.
But it helps to a sweet-ass killer cabinet.
Great group if I can say so myself. I look forward to working with these people come the morning of the 6th of July.

Dum spiro spero.
Sperry, Tem is right - you did indeed select a "sweet-ass killer cabinet"!!
Vote for Sperry!
This is a great cabinet led by a great candidate, my vote on July 5 is for Sperry.
Hail Temu!

It will be a funny election. Good Luck!
Good Luck from Taiwan!
Can't get sexier!
Nyahahahah Maho be a Vice President : p
*smirk* ~ nice election poster. Looks like a solid line-up. An MoI AND an MoC: good stuff for those that want to know more.
Do you plan on having deputies?
My eyes are seeing awesomeness, is it a dream?
I see no change-up here. Is this to be another "stay the course" presidency?
Good Luck Sperry
Bonne chan !
go go go Sperry..i vote you...are dedicated to this country, you are qualified as a good strategist, you deserve to be president!
Sperry's response to my concern. It's a good one, so I thought I'd post it:
"I ever-so hate replying to my own articles. Paranoid. >_>
3 sorts of people in the Cabinet - New Players (Wally, Ethel), Old Players (Silencer, ML), and High Profiles (Fox, Tem, Etem).
The high profiles are probably where your concern stems from. Simply put, I think we have enough to tackle with regards to the ONE war without considering a magical "let's try this new and untested" financial model, hence Etem (he's also someone I can rely on to answer the question I ask, not the question he hears). Fox and Tem - particularly Tem - bring experience that I don't have as much as. The cabinet, in my eyes, is to fill out where the CP isn't at their Peak. I am not at my peak when it comes to the military module, and I know virtually no one in Eden personally.
I suppose the assuagement comes with the other end of the spectrum, the 'newish'. Wally and Ethel are too new to be any sort of mainstream, and I think they will BE the new mainstream in less than 4 months. Having them in Cabinet facilitates that. Similarly, where I come from, I've been in Cabinets, and I'm not a fringe player, but it's a voice that hasn't been in the position that it's asking for - a new perspective that is open to ideas both old and new. Some old 'stay the course' ideas have merit, others don't. How old an idea is shouldn't be the measure of its worth, but how effective it can be.
Hence having people who know a list of ideas (the old fogies, as it were), but also people who come into the game with fresher eyes, enabling them to look at the ideas and call 'horse shit' if it's not viable.
Does that speak to your concern, or have I missed the boat entirely?"

I think you're aboard a west coast Bosun.

It may not be the biggest yacht out west but, you'll be able to navigate just fine, even in rough waters. o/

v+s LOTERRY!!!! http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/loterry-132grd-or-4q5-weapons-300-weapon-raw-material--1809075/1/20
Sperry has shown he has a total grasp of the behind the scenes action. His cabinet is excellent. He can handle people in game form. I will be definitely vote for him. You should too.
SPERRY FOR CP !
Yes..yes, let us elect the same team over and over. Change will definetly come.
