Big News Day
Yesterday, Day 1200, had to be one of the biggest news days I've seen in my nearly two years in the game.
Most of the big stories were iNCi related-- my own bit of sarcastic fluff was among the highest voted articles in the history of Custer's Stand-- even the normal pre-election campaigning took a back seat to the emo drama that iNCi brought upon itself.
Then late last night I popped into the main battle room on IRC and found an announcement that will literally change the face of the US Military.
Oh, and it's Election Day, so you'll see my endorsement for President of the United States.

We're Tired of Your Crap!


iNCi leader gs10 published a ranting tirade against some schmuck's forum posting which insulted RL Turkey's most revered historical figure. His off the wall tantrum was answered by a ton of US trolling in his Comments, and a number of articles condemning his threats and ultimatum. He edited and edited post-publication, trying to soften his language to assuage the readers, and eventually pulled the article.
By the end of the day I was hearing from American supporters of iNCi that gs10 may be not only stepping down from iNCi leadership but possibly quitting the game.

Following iNCi Congressman captain33's two Proposals-- to declare Brazil our Natural Enemy, and to transfer $10,000 USD to a private account-- he and two other iNCi Congressmen resigned.
Ten more iNCi Congressmen have been banned from the Congress Private Forums for IES Violation (unauthorized Citizenship grants) and INCI's Declaration of War (against the USA, by gs10 himself and other iNCi leaders). These Congressmen retain game mechanics Congress membership-- they can Vote on and make in-game Proposals, and grant US citizenships. Watch the Approved pages-- at the time of this writing these iNCi Congressmen continue to bring in more people to join their avowed PTO of America.
Yet some Americans continue to hold their heads firmly in the sand, as evidenced by this article and many of its Comments.

The US Training Corps, entry level branch for the US Military, had accepted iNCi members as full and equal soldiers. The same hostile behavior displayed by iNCi in the media and forums was ever present in the ranks. TC General Morrigan Alexandros writes in her article that classified internal documents were even leaked by iNCi members.
This is probably the greatest breach of trust perpetrated by iNCi members, and for me there is no coming back from it.



gs10, iNCi... ya got your Party into the Top Five, got 14 Congress seats, got iNCi members accepted into a couple US Military branches and almost got Militia funding. You even had a good deal of American support, including some top leaders. Yet between the aggressive behavior and unbridled hostility of your members and leadership, you actually managed to blow every bit of accomplishment you had gained up to yesterday.
You should have just accepted Mexico when it was offered to you, and by now you'd have gathered a ton of allies to help liberate your homeland from its oppressive government.. or at this point, you'd be launching RWs with full PanAm support. Your greed and arrogance have, instead, earned you the disrespect of the world. The public ridicule is a bonus, and you've earned that, too.


Chairman Jankems Resigns

As of 00:00 of today, Day 1201 of the New World, jankems has stepped down as the CJCS of the USA Armed Forces.

Soldiers in the main battle room were shocked at the announcement as his article link was posted. There were many hugs and handshakes and more than a few bananas offered to The Great Ape, who has been our top leader for seven months, having accepted the most important job in the country when former Army General and Chairman NXNW stepped down.
Look for articles from all the branch Commanders and many soldiers, prominent and rank-and-file, praising General jankems and wishing him well.
The procedure for replacing the Chairman is an election among the Joint Chiefs, and I am assured that the formal announcement of the placement of a new Chairman will come quickly.

Our Next President


Glove? SEES by any name is still SEES. iNCi loves Glove. No way.
Harrison Richardson? Talks big about his Army experience. I was his CO-- he wanted the Quartermaster job, and not getting that he slacked off his duties as a Platoon CO and eventually quit to join the TC. No way.
Sir Valaro Volcrum? Solid Military man, not one scandal or shortfall on his sheet. Great organizer, motivator, a true leader. Fu*k, yeah!
