Indonesia bends game mechanics, invades WA and tricks Australia to sign peace.

Day 873 opens up to be a good day for Phoenix as they take two decisive victories over key regions of Paris Isle of France and Western Australia. The victory in Western Australia has spurred a great deal of controversy as a youtube video recorded at the very end of the battle clearly shows Allied troops pushing the wall over No Man's land after the initial 24 hours of the battle ended. This should result in to an immediate victory but after the wall remained in No Mans Land for several minutes the forces of Phoenix were able to take the wall back between the secure and conquer lines and after over an hour of overtime the battle finally ended in favor of Indonesia. Requests for admins to examine the battle’s outcome have been heard all around the Allied Nations, most notable of them being an article written by the President of the United States.

The battle for Western Australia became a huge one, as the first battle between Australia and Indonesia was revealed to be a damage-sucking battle and the real fighting between these two nations and their allies was concentrated in Western Australia. The battle was started near midnight eRepublik time, a point in time popular to starting big battles as the offender can fight twice in the battle and leave the defender to deal with a heavily depleted wall to raise.
However in Western Australia the Allied forces were alerted and the tip of the spear consisted of Indonesian tanks was broken by joint armies of Eden, leaving the outcome of the first rush to be only -50k. After that the MPP-powers of Australia slowly increased the wall, but it never got above secure line when the regular armies of Serbia and Hungary hit. They reduced the wall to -550k, giving the United States the huge responsibility to repair the wall enough so Allied tanks can secure the battle. USA did a marvelous job, slowly increasing the wall overnight and gave their citizens free guns in “ICBM😒 for Indos”-program.

In the final hours of the battle the wall was perfectly tankable at being just -200k. Allied armies went head to head with Serbian/Hungarian elite forces and Indonesian tanks and briefly raised the wall above No Mans Land, as can be clearly seen from this video. The battle was supposed to end, but it didn’t, and the intense overtime began, and as the battle continued for the third day, both sides fought furiously to try and win the battle. I wasn’t witnessing it, but rumors say that Eden managed to raise the wall again over No Mans Land, but the battle continued against eRepublik game mechanics. Finally the Indonesian tanks, fighting for the third time in the same battle, resulted the battle and tanked the wall down to -90k.

Same problems appeared in Northern Territories, where the battle continued hours after Eden had secured it, and apparently admins concluded it manually. This battle was irrelevant as Eden secured it with 500k, but the outcome of Western Australia was decided on the final moments, greatly giving advantage to the other side.

The battle itself was gargantuan. More than 15,000,000 damage was dealt making it the biggest battle ever, and both sides used over 2500 wellness packs, raising the costs to be 10,000 on WP😒 alone. Add the usage of Q5-guns, lower-quality guns for regular armies, moving tickets, lost infrastructure etc., and the final bill for Western Australia surpasses 20,000 Gold, making it one of the most expensive battles ever fought. Very rarely soldiers are given the option to fight three times in the same battle, and Indonesia extracted the best of it by throwing out Gold to her tanks without any restraints. Indonesia hasn’t been a part of any significant conflict since the first war against Malaysia, where French troops denied their win and it ultimately lead to the resignation of France from Peace GC and finally to the demise of the alliance. Therefore they have been hoarding up Gold for this perfect chance to secure themselves Titanium and the first notable colony outside their borders since Karnataka.

About the controversy of the outcome, I believe what I see. And I’ve seen a video where Allied troops clearly win the battle. Therefore I call for an investigation + explanation from the Admins and I encourage everyone to sign this Open Letter.

Me alongside with Eden accepts fair defeats. Zhunder announces that Indonesia made more damage, but this is because they were given unfair conditions to carry on the fight. The battle reached No Mans Land during overtime, and this should result to a victory for Eden. If this is not true, I want admins to explain why. Instead of treasure maps, I want to play a game where I can trust that action A leads to an outcome B. If Indonesia won the battle fairly, I want to know how they did it.

Indonesia fools Australia to sign peace and to hand out WA.

This diplomatic trap from Indonesia is absolutely brilliant in it’s simplicity, and at the same time it is absolutely horrifying mistake from the Australian president and the Australian Congress.

I can truly only be amazed by the naivity of the Australian ruling class. First in an unbelievably stupid move, the former Prime Minister of Australia, Cerb, decides to attack Indonesia and launch all PHX MPP😒 in the process. The motive of this attack, as heard from himself, was to “test” Eden how much they really do care about Australia after they were lacking support during their first attempts to free South Africa. The truth is that their bids were doomed from the first second. Australia continually forgot to block the country they attacked, and it resulted to a retreat from the attacked country and the other one attacked Australia, fending them off. Cerb declared this as lack of support from Eden and exposed his country to utter destruction.

Fortunately, some land swaps in Asia dropped Serbia from the list of Indonesia’s active MPP😒, and therefore it seemed prominent that Australia could keep enough MPP😒 to fend off possible attacks. Indonesia lacked the will to attack against the full battery of Eden MPP😒, but decided to try their luck two days ago when they counted that USA+Croatia+Poland isn’t enough to defend Indonesia/Russia/Hungary/Brazil from prevailing. By proposing peace to Australia, they challenged them to a do or die battle in Western Australia, and they succeeded in their task. Now Australia faces the very permanent loss of their strategic chokepoint, population hub and important economical centre.

And here we come to the gigantic blow-up. Indonesian government invented this clever plan with PHX HQ, and started talks with Aus government to stop the war. They proposed that Australia votes first, and they got their will through. Australian president proposed peace, and after the vote got majority, Indonesia attacked. Peace agreements are signed in two phases. First, the proposing nation votes for it and if it succeeds, then the other nation votes. When the vote reached Indonesia’s congress’ table, they refrained from voting to see the outcome of WA. Had they lost the battle, they would have voted no to keep the option of invading Australia, but now when they won, Yea-votes started to roll, eventually sealing peace between Australia and Indonesia and leaving Western Australia to the loving care of Indonesia. The powerful active MPP😒 of Australia vanish, and they have to go head to head with Indonesia if they want it back.

In short, Australia got Punk’d. Epicly.

Lesson to be learned. If you have better MPP😒 than your opponent, don’t sign a penguin bowling peace.

During the attacks, the doings of the Australian congress can be put under questions. They started to sign MPP😒, but not with Romania and Spain, but with China and Japan. Nothing wrong with China, but Japan.

Capturing WA back will be a daunting task. Indonesia has grown to be a sizeable country again after they reached the rock bottom after loss in Karnataka. They are currently mounting a hospital to WA and a DS will soon follow. After that they will start to run extensive campaigns to move people there to raise the wall out of Eden's reach.

Australia signing peace with Indonesia will close prominent options for large military operations on the Southern Hemisphere. USA has an activated MPP with Poland, and teaming up with Australia under the right circumstandes could have lead to Stars and Stripes flying over captured Jakarta.

Australia signing peace with Indonesia also puts in to question, does Eden HQ have any authority over their member nations? Eden MPP😒 would’ve been enough to refrain Indonesia from attacking, and if amounted correctly, Eden could have baited Indonesia to attack and activate them. If Eden truly wanted to close the war with Indonesia, I blame them from lack of ambition. If they didn’t see this trap coming, I blame them from lack of knowledge of game mechanics.

However if this was a carefully executed plan, to trick Indonesia with a peace treaty to attack and activate these MPP😒, this was the most ballsy move from Eden since America attacking France. It was incredibly risky to leave the outcome to the hands of Eden tanks, but if this was a planned move, I’m starting to respect Eden in a whole new way. Eden did win, so I can’t imagine the disappoitment in Eden HQ when the game mechanics fail in such a crucial moment.
If we however believe the PM of Australia, and why we wouldn't, it wasn't a planned operation and all applaudes should go to Phoenix.

It remains to be seen if the Administration team takes action.

In other news, France gains an important victory with the liberation of Paris. Alongside with the symbolic value of being able to dine in Paris again, Paris holds a large quantity of companies and having them back will make France’s economy significantly stronger.
