Citizens of the World, the battle for Western Australia opened up at 23:32 eRep time on Day 871. On Day 872, 23:37 eRep time, the wall was well over the secure line for Australia in the war against Indonesia. In addition, the battle was frozen for many users. At the time of this writing, at 00:23 eRep time, Day 873, the Battle for Western Aus is still open, despite a -90k wall.
UPDATE: The battle is closed, long after it should have.
Perhaps an investigation into this battle is in order. Considering that you just released a new insider about treasure maps, fixing this battle will probably make people happier.

people fought. I fought. I saw names roll by on both sides who had fought in the closing minutes, again up to 30 minutes after the time was up.

So the battle go overtime at border area.
At the change day, we fight again and make it underground

When time expired, Australia was up 300k.
But, the clock kept rolling. By my count, until 55 minutes after the battle ended.
That's quite a lag.
I got to fight three days in a row in Western Australia-- I first fought just before midnight, Friday, Pacific Time, then again just before (I thought) the battle would close on Saturday night.
It was at that point that Western Australia appeared to be secure with a wall of 300k.
But the damage kept on rolling. I fought again after midnight, a half hour after the battle should have closed.
Finally, 55 minutes after the battle was scheduled to close, PHX had driven the wall to -89k.
Admins-- please, for the love of God, DO NOT EVEN ATTEMPT to launch V2 when you don't have the server capacity to run V1.
