The battle for London was host over 43k fighters from EDEN and Phoenix. More than 12.5 million damage was laid down from both sides in 210k fights.

This was one of the biggest battles in eRepublik history. And it's goal was what?

High Iron?
High Diamonds?
High Wood even?

Perhaps, it had strategic value to allow EDEN to gain a bridgehead to attacking one of our Phoenix allies?

No. London contains high grain, something that the USA alone already has in 6 of her home regions, is bordered by UK regions and essentially has absolutely no tactical or strategic value.

What, then, is the reason for this invasion? The sole justification for wasting thousands upon thousands of Gold conquering a strategically unimportant country with no valuable high resource regions?

Revenge. Nothing more.

The USA still feels, for lack of a better word, butthurt about the UK ditching them in favour of the ossim guys over in PEACE. Apparently, having a mind of your own is still a reprehensible action in the United States of Obesity.

In essence, this invasion is just exemplifying the US's (and EDEN's) continuing arrogance and mentality that they are invincible.

Does anyone else remember what happened the last time they acted like that? If you don't, I'll quickly remind you.

Just shy of 1300 gold was spent to attack London by the clearly fantastic strategist the USA call their President. Then, in his infinite wisdom, he attacked East Midlands, allowing Prime Minister Dishmcds to retreat and leave us with the sole region of London. Now the ball is firmly in EDEN's court. Do they attack London again for another 1300 gold and risk losing spectacularly once again? Or do they allow their initiative to lapse and return initiative to the hands of the UK so that we might smack seven shades out of them? I'd like to see another attack just so we can slap you guys again.

I'd like to take a moment to share a massive thank you with our allies in Phoenix and Entente for laying down millions of points of damage to defend our capital. It will not be forgotten and we will reply it in kind any time we can.
