EDEN & Phoenix forever, or...?

Don't forget to vote! My first ever international article? It is an international article, yes, but I doubt it would reach there 🙂 But it's a nice neutral perspective to be viewed from. And yes, there will be lots of article links.

You may have looked around the news, and seen the fact that there are a lot of in-fights in alliances with talks of both EDEN and Phoenix breaking up. USA a long time ago broke away from EDEN, made the Brolliance, more recently at the start of this month Brazil broke away from Phoenix, over PTOed South Africa, occupied by Hungary. This article will start with what "went wrong" and speculate what may happen.

Phoenix

I'll start with the traditionally stronger alliance, in my eyes. Phoenix was the elite of PEACE of old, it was more "stream-lined" and less arguing. No longer was it the U.N of the New World, but a dominating powerhouse. It maintained the hierarchy, that the stronger nations were on top. I felt EDEN/Atlantis always had an advantage, as they were "equal" opposed to Hungary, Serbia and Indonesia ruling over all. Anyway, on to today and why there are cracks beginning to show.

Phoenix recently started "losing" more than EDEN on the battlefield. But they held strong, the faith remained. Then the new resource changes came, Phoenix had every right to be up in arms. Russia, a super-power for the sole reason it had vast economic resources, lost everything. Iron, Titanium and Stone were no longer in small quantities, and in stone's case, no longer existed or needed. As far as I know, the new resources created some tension in Phoenix, Brazil wanted South Africa's resources, besides, Hungary didn't need them all. They took South Africa and left the Phoenix alliance. This left the door wide-open for USA, and their idea for a new "PANAM".

EDEN? Breaking up? The brotherhood? Wow. Where did it start? It began all the way back when America left EDEN, back in March I think? PiginZen left EDEN when a few problems like USA weren't listened to or appreciated, and the were changes too much. Not to mention a few American trolls attacked the Polish government or something. This lead to the creation of an alliance, the Brolliance. It was very pro-EDEN. Led by America, and was made up of Ireland, Canada, Japan, Australia and China. China left to join EDEN, but apart from that not much happened. I think it opened up a concept of the fact that an alliance could live outside the Polar-alliances, since their creation.

Lately, Poland have got a hissy fit with Romania, for no reason as far as I know. Here are a few articles for you to read. Basically, they say that Poland and Hungary want to get married and take down Romania together. Which, is stupid, because Romania have helped Poland loads, and Vice Versa. Best of luck to Romania when Poland and Hungary knock at their door. Of course, there are a few trying to smooth-en out relations.

Spain and France at Peace. For the first time in a long time, Spain and France are showing friendliness to each other. I was shocked when I found out, as I posted on IRC "when France and Spain are allies, I'll make a multi-farm" and as we all know, I'm very anti-multi. But even so, I won't be making any multi's any time soon. I think that there are talks of a New World Order between Poland, France, Spain and Hungary. Of course had they known the IRC channel #NewWorldOrder was already registered, for a certain South-Korean party, they would pick a better name. And no, the party has no attachment with the proposed alliance.

Regional Alliances

PANAM

The old alliance merged, mostly, into PEACE GC. It was the South American-Latino-Hispanic alliance. Of course, some like to reminisce and there are talks, and a proposal. St Krems is the current American MoFa, for those who didn't know. Anyway, America's new friendship with Brazil lead to this creation, a lot of regional patriotic talk about how Europe sucks (Koosunami #2, eh?) and how this alliance benefits all. It is proposed that USA, Canada, Brazil, Argentina and Japan are members. That's the only official talk about regional alliances, the rest is speculation and rumours.



New World Order

Supposedly consisting of Poland, Spain, France and Hungary. There may be more, Croatia is also a possibility I hear, and this is the most controversial alliance I feel. For one, will it work? Germany are conquered by Poland, and Poland are attacking France now, and France are best buds with Germany. It looks to be tough, but there are going to be other sides and possibilities. It really would be, a World Order though.

The Other Alliance(s)

With Romania having a high chance of massive assault, it could face being wiped for the first time. Serbia left out in the dark, Russia needing something to revitalise itself, Indonesia being left out of everything, and enemies on it's doorstep, where do the rest go? Romania and Serbia are likely to chum up, and Turkey, F.Y.R.M and UK are likely to stick together. As are the Scandinavian nations. Allies are a possibility, Singapore is looking into this. It's likely we are going to sign, look nice and hard.

There may be other new alliances, but if EDEN and Phoenix break up, it won't be the same ever again. Or at least for a while....

What does this mean for Singapore? (You didn't think it would be entirely neutral?)

In a sense, nothing. If we want, we can use it to our advantage and include ourselves in places we aren't supposed to be, but what's the point in that? I just think we should do what we would, and laugh at nations who back-stabbed their friends, and be amazed by the world's fury. The world is changing as we know it, keep an eye out.

Regional alliances? PACMAN?

No.
