Location: Asleep

Lifted directly from this edition of the White House Press Room newspaper:

Hello my name is Kara Beth. I have been appointed as Joint Deputy Secretary of Media/Interior. This fancy title basically means I will be in charge of using the Media to raise funds for the Department of Interior. These funds will be used for Bewbs 4 Newbs and Meals on Wheels. When new players join the game, these are the government give-away programs that accelerate their growth, increase their battle influence, and keep them playing this game we all invest ourselves in.

I have not, and will not, buy a Grab Bag for the chance of receiving prizes in return.
Instead, I have sent Kara Beth, on behalf of the Challenge Coins project, a straight donation of $300.

"Why?," you may ask... Why not get a share of the generous rewards offered-- ranging from Foods to Weapons to Cash and even Houses?
It's simple. I've taken from the Department of Interior, I've asked for and have received food from Meals on Wheels and from Bewbs for Newbs, and I've received weapons from Arm America.
My straight Donation hardly covers what they've given me.

So today, while I am promoting the Grab Bag project I also appeal to you to remember what the Department of Interior has done for you, and seriously consider giving some back.
Send straight Donations to Kara Beth, with a note of thanks to clarify that you are not asking for a Grab Bag in return, but demonstrating your appreciation for what the Department of Interior has done for you.
Kara Beth is doing a good thing, here, and I believe her to be a responsible steward of the funds entrusted to her.

Need Incentive?

Okay, sure... you send $100 to your local Public Radio station and you get a nice coffee mug. Run 25 miles and raise $500 for a disease and you get a really cool t-shirt.

So here's the deal:
You send Kara Beth $300 USD, she'll forward me a list of names of people who specified that they do not want a Grab Bag for their donation, and I'll send you five Q5 tanks.
Short return on your investment? You betcha.
This is charity, support for your government programs that have supported you, not a lottery.
Give back some of what you've been given, and get the $300 coffee mug.

Just think how cool tacky this will look in your forum sig line!

tl;dr version:
Send Kara Beth $300 and declare that you want no Grab Bag for it, she'll send me your name, and I'll send you five tanks.
Sorry, Kara Beth, for adding to your already burgeoning workload (welcome to my world!).

You can do this instead of, or in addition to, purchasing all the Grab Bags you can carry for $100 each.

Either way, support the Department of Interior as it has supported you!

Does your Bazooka collection look like this?

I have the makings of 21 Bazookas. That's some fairly respectable firepower just waiting to be put to work for America. Maybe you haven't been using your Bazookas, either, and the components are just piling up and collecting dust.
So, what do ya think... how about we try a little organized Bazooka Party next week, say Monday or Tuesday..?
If you think a Bazooka Party is a good idea, say so in the Comments section, and we'll see if our leadership can arrange a time and place for us to make an impression on one of our favorite enemies.

I'll continue to help our newer fighters rank up with free tanks so they can join in the fun, too.

No Challenge Coins will be awarded for participation in this event if it does come together.
I will make a cool graphic to include in that day's edition of this paper, for those who might wish to add it to their forum sig lines.

Regarding Donations to the Challenge Coins project: Stop Donating stuff.

Some people just won't let me get out of the business of raising morale through the Challenge Coin project.
I sent Jaywalker71 cash for 125 tanks, he sent me 250 of 'em.
Another solid sponsor, Npaidi, sent me $900 cash.
The cash will be spent on more tanks, and the tanks will be given to donors to Kara Beth as outlined above, and to noob fighters who I'll invite to join the Bazooka Party.

Huge thanks, again, to all who donated to the Challenge Coins project, to all who were honored with Coins, and to all who participated in the Minutemen events.

If you want to join the any branch of the USMilitary, the Training Corps is the place to start.
TC grads understand how to function within a quasi-military structure, and are preferred over untrained civilians when applying to any American Military Unit.

What did you say about my Ernie?!
Do you have what it takes to be a Marine?
4000 strength, rank of General, 940 minimum influence per fight with no weapon
