One of the many choices all players make when joining is choosing a political party. A party is a social group of hundreds of players, working in tandem to both keep America's politics a safe and accessible place. Parties run people for congress, as well as giving nominations to presidential candidates. This article features some quotes straight from the horse's mouth on all of the premier parties of the U.S., or if you prefer, you can click their names to join their IRC room and talk to them yourself!



The United States Workers Party (USWP) has long been the most populous party in America, and an avenue for many big names to get into the government. It's party president, Henry Arundel (aka Pfeiffer), granted us a few words on the USWP.

"The USWP is the single most successful (and recently fairly dominant...f*ck yea) party in American History. If you're at all interested in learning more about the political side of this game, no party is better equipped to help you do so than the USWP. We've elected the most Presidents, Speakers, and we run train on anyone who decides to screw with us. Basically, we're badass motherf*ckers.

Since January of this year we've been purging all of the undesirables from the party, and things have been getting better ever since. The American Military Party (AMP) are the keystone supporter of military affairs in the U.S. They are a strong second in members to the USWP. It's party president, Israel Stevens, gave us his take on his party.

Since our rise to power 5 months ago, we have consistently been among of top parties, in terms of Congressman. In fact, we have finished either first, or second, every time. What does that mean for you? Well, it means that we have the experience to teach you how to become a savvy politician, and get elected. But more than that, we have the connections, and an impassioned base that is fervent when it comes to voting for AMP candidates.

Still not convinced that we are awesome? We also have programs that supply food to our newest members, so that they can fight more, and rank up faster. Tending to the youth should be paramount to all parties, and at the AMP, we place a high standard on development. "



The Federalist Party (Feds) are a longstanding party, known for it's many internal programs including the last remaining party militia, Easy Company. Civil Anarchy deferred to multiple term party president and media mogul, Gnilraps, to speak about his party.

"The Federalist Party has been a staple of Integrity and Leadership in eRepublik since it's inception in 2008. Despite its enduring presence among the top parties, it has avoided the pitfalls of inactivity that have at times befallen the largest parties and the disruptive instability that has killed many smaller ones. Seven current or former Federalists have occupied the Country President's seat, and Federalists have recently become an extremely popular choice to fill out the White House Cabinet. Words synonymous with the Federalist Party: Integrity, Decorum, Achievement, Stability, Excellence, and Nationalism. We always have and always will place the good of the Nation before the needs of our Party. We can provide many examples of times this has "cost" our party in Congressional seats, but has safeguarded the stability of the eUSA. We are Proud and Horny.

As the official home of Easy Company, the Federalist Party also boasts the longest-standing Party Militia in the eUSA. Our IRC room (#FedPartyChat) is routinely recognized as the most active place to be among all public eRepublik chat rooms. You will not find exclusively Federalists chatting there but leaders and members from every Party hang out and have fun. We play Uno, Trivia, serve "drinks", flirt with freckledchik, Clorofila, Angelini, and the rest of our FedBabes. We talk about eRepublik and everything else.

We've established a reputation for promoting promising new players into leadership positions, both Nationally and in Party. There are usually more people involved in our Party Leadership than any other Party, including those parties with greater numbers than ours. The Federalist Forum is another reflection of the kind of quality people you find in our Party. Our Forum has enjoyed expert Administration over the years by people who care very much for its content and atmosphere. We are generally a troll-free zone. We run a Mentoring program, the Federalist ECademy for new player education, the aforementioned Militia, a Forum-Based Academy with archived classes, we host IRC Rave-up Parties, random IRC giveaways, and other fun times. The Libertarian Party (Libs) are the eldest living party in America, re-emerging as the face of the anti-tax movement. It's president, famous tech wizard s0beit, offered us some words about his party.

"The Libertarian Party has always been driven by a few especially exceptional talented people, we have crafted great leaders and they have crafted us in kind. We're a team of tight knit individuals that strive for efficiency in everything we do. We're the business owners, the tool programmers, the article writers and the Army members that rise above the rest. We've always had an elite few with an army of exceptional players holding us up. We like politics to be fun, you won't find any terrible elitsts here. We are one of the oldest parties in this game still existing. Some of the greatest players in eRepublik history have been in the Libertarian Party leadership, a short list would be: Nave Saikiliah, Publius, Emerick, Claire Littleton and CRoy (aka "The Libertine"). I am sincerely sorry to any of you great ones I have missed.

We like to chat on IRC a lot, we're a talkative bunch. We also have a forum (http://euslp.com/forum/index.php) which we b.s. on and we're about to start a weekly giveaway contest thanks to the good will of the party leadership. There's no reason to burn yourself out on internal party activities if you don't feel like it, just hang out with us - we're friendly! We have a mobile voter program, blocker program and we run candidates in other parties as well as our own. We're friendly with most other parties out there today, and we work pretty darn hard to organize our masses. We're very close to a lot of people in our party and talk with them personally all the time. We're recently more focused on personal relationships with as many people in our party as humanly possible. This encourages activity and organization.

We here to keep it fun and real, our party's message is one of it's members - there's no individual or nationalist agenda to push. We run congressmen so long as they're not evil-doers (IES protocol is really the only rule they need to follow) and whatever they decide in congress is their own business. We do not push issues on people and encourage people to think for themselves, and not for others. We're the freedom party.

We focus on self-sustainability and efficiency, we think these two things are central to our snazzy, sexy organization. We're full of USAF members, Special forces members, Seal Team 6 members, writers, programmers and just normal joes. We can help you excel in anything you want to do, and we will probably help more than most other parties out there. We're very giving and we can help you to become whatever it is you desire to be."

            

The New Conservative Party (NCP) is currently under "renovation" after a battle with a certain treasonous baked good, and isn't a full functioning party until it's either destroyed or reformed under the next administration. Because of this, your prospects would be better in the other top 4.

iNCi is a party made by a Turkish group of the same name that came to America earlier this year for economic and political refuge. Even though most of them are in Cyprus now, the party is still home to a large number of Turkish-Americans and owl lovers.

The Socialist Freedom Party (SFP) is America's premier facility to make McCarthy roll in his grave. A tight knit group dedicated to anti-imperialism and a prominent media, the SFP has been a strong sixth party in the US for most of it's life.

The United Independents Party (UIP) is a former top 5 party that fell after the arrival of INCI. Even though it's not extremely politically active anymore, it has a few close constituents that still keep the name and party alive.
