Dáil Éireann Voting Record for 12/26 - 1/10

1/18:
President of Ireland proposed a MPP with Malaysia. Proposed by Edana Savage.
YES
If we aren't joining an alliance any time soon then this MPP gives us daily battles, which is currently the most important thing Ireland is doing in regards to her future.

1/20:
Transfer 27 GBP from the country accounts to Banc Ceannais. Proposed by navy II.
NO
This wasn't put up for a vote in either Dáil. Considering navy's history, I decided to vote against this transfer (small as it is).

1/21:
Impeach President Edana Savage. Proposed by Teutorix Aleria.
NO
Regardless of Teutorix's desire for "teh lulz," Edana has been an excellent An Taoiseach for Ireland; even if she defected to Independent Voices. Although, voting YES on a joke proposal like this is telling, in the least, of how the Dáil looks at Ms. Savage. She got 14 votes of no confidence. If everyone in the Dáil was as dutifully-transparent as me we'd know exactly who cast those 14 votes and why.

1/21:
Raise import tax on houses from 10% to 25%. Proposed by Glenn Wauters.
NO
This is an interesting proposal. However, there needs to be a study done on Ireland's housing situation. While I understand the sentiment behind a proposal like this, if it passed it would essentially limit all of Ireland to the six offers that are currently on the market.

...And then came the twelve end-of-session throwaway proposals that I didn't even bother to keep up with, much less vote on. Ireland should take a cue from the Holy Empire and not lose our load with throwaway proposals. It's especially disingenuous considering we were fighting off a *rogue* Polish PTO that had "no affiliation with the Polish government."
