Dáil Éireann Voting Record for 11/26 - 12/10

Teachta Dála, Dublin (IUP)
No. 10 in Ireland
No. 3 in the Irish Union Party
.
11/27:
Transfer 30,000 IEP from the country accounts to the Banc Ceannais. Proposed by Dubhthaigh.
YES
A standard transaction to liquidate the national accounts of IEP for the purpose of deposition into the national bank.
12/10:
Issue 40,000 IEP for 200 gold. Proposed by Dubhthaigh.
YES
As proposed by Dubhthaigh in the Public Dáil in the Irish forum, this measure would at the very least determine whether or not the economic strategies of recent administrations have been effective. At the most it would jump start the Irish economy.
The idea is to counteract/reverse recent administrative policies that have effectively lowered the value of the Irish pound. According to Dubhthaigh, if the Ministry of Finance is allowed to print 40,000 IEP for 200 gold then it can be sold for 760 gold on the monetary market. If it works then we might be able to semi-permanently curve the infectious tide all over the New World of toying around with exchange rates at the expense of your nation's immediate future. It's a dubious plan but it's worth a trial period considering the rampant stagnance of the Dáil.

And...?
I do not condone dipole Militarism
lmao. Dan, he didn't mention anything about the military in this article.
...Oh, and by my last article you are nearing your 37th Birthday.
Good transparency.
Now i see what your talking about Dan. Completely missed it before.
@ Dan Murchadh
And, how old am I?
Lol, Longbaugh your voting record is 0. You have not voted once on the forums. Stop trying to make yourself look better then you actually are.
273 Erep days old. In my last article, my computation says you are actually 37.22 years, approximately, accounting that it is Day 752.
So corrected, have a look: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/it-s-been-a-long-time--1079629/1/20" target="_blank">http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/it-s[..]/1/20
@ Kavrocks
Haha, what are you talking about? How am I trying to make myself look better? By using proper English? By directly addressing criticism? Hahahaha, you don't want to tango with me Kav, I don't care how many posts you've made on the forum.
You've gotten by with your excessive tattling up to this point. Maybe I should inform you, Kavrocks, that I was elected to the United States Congress in May (some five months before you were even born) and know exactly how congress works. My vote count is 2... if you had any experience outside of Ireland you'd know that the only votes that count are those counted toward proposals made on eRepublik. I don't need to vote "No" on a constitutional amendment in the forum that's bound to fail regardless of my Yes/No vote.
At least I follow Dáil procedure, eh Kavrocks?
Kavrocks and Longbaugh : hey, why don't u guys go chatting in IRC and debate ur problems there...it's not convenient to 'read' some 'battle' here 😃
This article is full of gibberish?
Since when am i Vice President?
How exactly does printing more IEP reverse devaluation (ie. increase it's value)?

It seems like what Kavarocks said, somebody who is lazy and does not want to work, but when they get shown for it they try to make it up, but fail by not having a clue of whats happening
The comments here seem to have little to do with the article, so I'd like to propose the following: The Grand Canyon is overrated. Have at it.
This is a politician who does not support the change of clocks from analog to digital.
Have at it
Fish in a barrel, Gleb. Who the hell ever looked at a Casio digital watch and said, "Oooh, lovely." Analog Rules!
Hmmm. Participation in the Dail doesn't count? If I was one of your constituents, Longbough, I would be pissed. You were voted in to represent your people. So you can't take the time to vote Ta/Nil? 😛
Weak, man. Very weak. You can do better. So let's see it. Ireland deserves no less.
all these complaints and not one idea to fix anything...LOL more an more like the REAL world.
I will 'tango' with you any day and wipe the floor with you. Just because Ireland's Dáil acts differently then the American congress does not mean you can say Constitutional Amendments mean nothing.
Look at your only proposal made in the Dáil this term it was ripped to shreds and voted No against by all except one. You have let down anybody who voted for you and its a shame. Who cares what happens in the past we are living in the here and now and your failing to keep up old man. You've taken this game to serious its not real life there's no need to talk about people's join date as the day they were born.
lol
I can say, unequivocally, that 90% of the governance of this eCountry happens OFF the erepublik site.
.
Ignore that 90%, and you are ignoring the job that a Congress member is paid 5 gold to perform.
@ Kavrocks
Yeah, in the American congress we had to register our congressional vote every day because there 2-3 bills proposed on a daily basis.
You treat me with such virile hate, and the only reason I can muster up for it is that my proposal "failed miserably." This shows incredibly self-consciousness on your part and reminds me of the worst of the eUSA. I already apologized for the inactivity in the forum. I've had a trifecta of hardware/software/driver issues for two weeks now. Considering my limitations, my level of activity is rare.
As for constitutional amendments and the absolute necessity to join 20+ yes votes with mine; it's not necessary. It's not necessary in any RL congress and it's not necessary in any eRep congress. Study up on Ron Paul and the idea of controlled legislation if you'd like. Some people make points out of not voting on every issue.
@ Dubhthaigh
By selling the cheap mint on the market for market value? Why are you trying to challenge me on your own idea?
@ Digits
I'm not going to apologize twice. (http://ieforums.hobbittown.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=1257)
Also, just to clarify:
I've always published my eRep voting record. I never published forum votes when I was in the U.S. Congress. Any suggestions that I'm just trying to cover my ass are absurd; a simple perusing of my past articles would clarify this.
'I'm as mad as hell and I'm not going to take this anymore!'
Interesting thread. eIreland sounds as cool as RL Ireland.
