Dáil Éireann Voting Record for 11/26 - 12/10
12/12:
Transfer 40,000 IEP from the country accounts to the Banc Ceannais. Proposed by navy II.
YES
A standard transaction to liquidate the national accounts of IEP for the purpose of deposition into the national bank.
12/15
The President of Ireland demanded a sum of demand 0 from your National Treasury in return to a peace treaty with USA. Proposed by AppleMan.
NO
I am the only Teachta Dála to have voted against this peace proposal. I do not now, nor will I likely ever understand why allying with the United States—a nation that would never attack us unless they were willing to lose their self-imposed status as peacekeepers and non-imperialists—is considered more viable than allying with the UK. I see Ireland and the UK as natural brothers in the same vein as the US and Canada. An IE/UK defensive alliance would make much more sense and, in this TD’s humble opinion, would benefit Ireland far more. Not to mention, all Irish who think Ireland could ever be welcomed into the succulent teet of the eUSA like Canada was are pipe-dreaming. We are nothing but a buffer between them and the British.
12/17:
President of Ireland proposed a MPP with Malaysia. Proposed by AppleMan.
YES
This MPP, upon passing, got us involved in the Sol war games. I’m all for war for Ireland and our treaty with the WWIV-involved USA ended our war games with them. Plus, it keeps Ireland neutral (for the time being).
12/22:
Issue 40,000 IEP for 200 gold. Proposed by Sean Power.
YES
Part and parcel to the Master Plan implemented at the start of the December session.
12/22:
The President of Ireland demanded a sum of 0 from your National Treasury in return to a peace treaty with Canada. Proposed by AppleMan.
YES
This war was opened when Ireland renewed the war games with the United States. It was a glitch that needed to be corrected (ideally for free).
12/23:
Transfer 40,000 IEP from the country accounts to Banc Ceannais. Proposed by navy II.
YES
A standard transaction to liquidate the national accounts of IEP for the purpose of deposition into the national bank.
12/24:
Do you agree that Ireland should buy a hospital of quality 5 from Irish State Hospitals at the price of 0.01 IEP for Cork and Kerry?
NO
This is another proposal in which I was the only nay vote. I believe Dublin should be the next region to receive a Q5 hospital. Most RL Irish who start this game start out in Dublin. Consequently, most of those who quit this game do it in Dublin. Considering how most newborns are attached to their RL regions, I think putting a Q5 in Dublin would give more incentive for new citizens to continue playing, as they could fight for their country and run for the Dail from their RL home region... without having to move around, losing wellness.
The real point, though, is that all logic regarding putting one in Cork and Kerry as well as the Northwest, Southeast, and the Shannon is dead on arrival because we can all agree that if anyone ever bothered to attack us we'd lose. No matter what the population of Cork and Kerry is because of a Q5 hospital, we'd lose (and we'd lose that Q5). Dublin just seems like the place we should anchor our national operation. It is our capital after all.

I agree with your last vote tbh.
Just so you know, Dublin has a Q4 hospital, it seams insane to build a Q5 there, when somewhere with a Q1 or no hospital at all would be much more logical and efficent!
@ 5n4keyes
Dublin's Q4 hospital is only used once (maybe twice) before said citizen moves to the Northeast; and now Cork and Kerry. The Q4 should have never been built for Dublin. If new citizens only use it once or twice then it was a waste of money. With that said, I believe Ireland's military infrastructure should be built from the outside-in. Cork and Kerry borders the United States and Canada; both informal allies now. The same logic for putting a Q5 hospital in the Northeast should be used for Dublin, and Dublin borders the UK... just like the Northeast.
Not to mention the aforementioned fact that the majority of new citizens start out in Dublin.
Longbaugh, as for your piont about most new citzens start off in Dublin, i work in the MONC and i have loads in Cork NW
@ JohnSmith 2K9
Dulin is the most populated region in eIreland; with more citizens than the Northwest and Cork & Kerry combined. If you're counter argument is that the majority of Dublin's population is dead then I rest my case.
Hospital was build pre V1, back when a Q5 hospital was something that was rare, hell Q4 was also rare!
Im sure all areas will get a Q5 hospital in due time.
No time for serious matters, tis Christmas.
@Longbaugh. While I respect your opinion, I find your logic confusing. You did NOT want us to sign peace with the eUSA but DID want the Sol wargames? Do you understand the game mechanic of alliances. Malaysia has a MPP with the US. We never could have joined Sol while we were at war with the US. Also, a war with the eUSA would be suicide for our economy. A RW with the eUK would be the same as well, but not quite as bad.
Lol, Longbaugh still has a personal vendetta against the eUSA. Grow up.
@ JeepAmerica
If I had a personal vendetta against the USA, why would I be in Ireland? It's quaint that you remember me (and check my newspaper). Had you not commented I would have continued to forget about you, Jeep.
War's coming. Spain is romping through France. The avenue for attack on eBritain is opening wide.
