[UKRP] Let's look at our candidates

Day 1,939, 09:33 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Professor Evil

Just like last month, I'm going to do a quick coverage of our candidates, listing their individual positives. Cyg, our current Party Prez already did an awesome overview, which is well worth a read also.

There's a debate at 8pm tonight, so head on down there before making your mind up about who to vote for. But please also take this for your consideration. This will be an absolutely vital month for the party! We've got the challenge of staying in the top five, the challenge of congress and plenty of others. The right person for the job will provide strong leadership and the best party atmosphere possible.

Madacaion

Manifesto

+ He's Mada, and Mada is awesome. Okay, that's a slightly simplistic reason, so let me clarify it. He's done loads for the party, both in terms of recruitment, community and maintaining our image. He works incredibly hard, and his loyalty speaks for itself.
+ His experience speaks for itself: he's been CP, vPP, and a whole load of other vital roles.
+ His rotating spokesman is fascinating and will engage more party members as well as increasing and finessing our media presence.

LongShotzZ

Manifesto

+ Hasn't been with us for long, but has been incredibly active during his time, both in the MoHA and the party.
+ Is a good recruiter and great journalist, and all around swell guy!
+ He has positive PP experience at 1V
+ Has interesting ideas on party roles and gaining congress seats

James Scarlet

Manifesto

+ Has been very active with the recruitment team, getting new members to the party. Recruitment is a particular strong point of his, and I'm sure he'll be able to boost our numbers as PP
+ As someone who has a strong recollection of how unpleasant things can be when a bullying culture develops (it's why he joined us) he'll know more than most the value of a positive, supportive community
+ Has positive experience, both in the MoFA and New Era. And us, of course.

Sir Rex Fleddington

Manifesto

+ Did a wonderful job with the podcast, and I'm sure we're all eagerly awaiting future instalments!
+ I've thought for a while that using gdocs to keep recruitment records should be standard, and he wants to make this happen.
+ Like the other candidates, his experience in the party and the cabinet/civil service is fantastic
+ His voice is cool!

Seranok

Manifesto

+ Has really good ideas, and especially had good ideas last month I would have liked to see implemented
+ Is quite quiet by his own omission, but is still dedicated and an active member

Please attend the debate tonight, see how the candidates face up and make an informed choice!
