First of all I would like to congratulate Cygnus on his successful term as party president and wish him all the luck with whatever he plans to do next because I know that he will do a good job at that too.

Hi my name is Sir Rex and I am a candidate for the upcoming party president elections. You will most likely recognise my name via the UKRP podcast, my congress position or through my recruitment messages. First of all I will talk about my history…

I am a new “old-fag” who joined eRepublik back in 2009 where I jumped from party to party looking for somewhere that suited my personality. In 2010, I decided to move into the military side of politics. During this time period I became a MU leader and stayed in this position for 3 terms (I believe it was the hydra MU). In 2011, when I returned to eRepublik, I tried small ministerial positions (for example the MoHA) where I became a recruitment team member. After two terms of ministerial positions, I left again to focus on studying during a difficult year of school. And here I am, I returned about a month ago and I never let go. I am now the General Secretary of the UKRP (my favourite party ever) and a “big dog” in the recruitment side.

Ok let’s get down to what I will be doing if I am electe😛

•I want the party to use Google documents more. I believe that it is the best way to co-operate and become a team unit. Although some would argue that it didn’t work last term, I would use it as a basis for most areas of the party. For example, A list will be made of all new players messaged and if one is messaged twice then the first person to message him would be directly responsible and would have to apologise to that player.

•I want to keep the pressure on our amazing recruitment drive we have been having recently by having a shift set up for the recruitment team. A shift would last on average about two hours but I realise that sometimes people have things to do IRL, so either I or a volunteer would cover their shift.

•I love the idea of the PP announcements every week. I will turn this into an article as well to grab a bigger audience and I will acknowledge anyone who helps the party by putting a ‘thank you’ list at the bottom with a small lottery attached to reward them.

•I will give party positions a bigger responsibility by actually giving them tasks on their job. For example, the councillor will send out messages to all new members telling them how to get more involved and to thank them. I believe by giving them more responsibility within the major areas of the party, they will grow to become leaders of the party in the future.

These are my main ideas, but I will take in any ideas given to me and I will reward these with Mittekemuis hugs 😛

My ‘line-up’ for the party positions are a group of individuals who have been exceptional in their recent works. It was a hard choice between so many amazing candidates, but after a discussion with my colleagues and some difficult decisions I decided that these four will do brilliant job.
