Military Recruitment Reminder

Last week, the Minister of Home Affairs has begun it's push to recruit for the new old new National Military. As Talon had said when he took office, he wanted to restart a branch for the lower ranked players, rather than having them funneled into private MU's, as it's easier to keep up on costs that way. We're going to be PMing all Military Units (so don't baw when your members get a PM please) about the new Military. In short, it says:

We know you left because supplies weren't good, but we're back, and anyone who joins, and works in our companies will get a minimum of 20 tanks per day, along with bonuses for showing up on IRC for strikes.

We're pushing hard to outsupply everyone, in case you were wondering, as we'd like to actually increase focused damage, rather than letting everyone fight wherever they want.

Next Ask the Gov / Prime Minister Questions

We'll be holding our next PMQ's on Wednesday, March 28th (Day 1590) at 19:00 GMT (1200 Erep time) in #mentoring on Rizon's IRC server. Anyone is welcome to join and ask the variety of UK Ministers and Prime Minister a question. It will be moderated the same way as last time. If you cannot make it, but wish to ask a question, please feel free to send us a message here at the Home Office.

We'll also be holding the first "Resistance" meeting for those who wish to depose our new King, so if you're serious about removing him, I'd suggest attending.

A Resistance How-To

So, we've all seen that there's a new dastardly in our Palace. His name is HRH Jamesw (or you can call him Jimmy). Woldy still has some rather loyal followers, however, which we in the current Royal Family recognise.

If you want to depose a King, however, it takes effort. It takes someone to actually put in work, which the current King has yet to see, so he wanted to remind you of something (and I quote):

That being said, there was a rumour of some kind of Rebel Alliance being formed. Woldy II, the illegit son of Woldy I, has started mounting a sleepy resistance somewhere within the United Kingdom.

Rest assured, the Government, by order of the Monarchy, will be searching every end of this country for its headquarters to destroy any threat to the Palace. If you wish to resist, however, you actually have to get off your collective rears and work for it, though. I'd suggest speaking to Woldy's little man about that.

Burberry Week

As mentioned in the last article, we'll be having Burberry Week starting the 29th, with cash prizes thrown in. We've got some pretty unique festivities planned for the Celebration, which will include some graphic skills as well as some intellect and wit.

Congressional Reminders

Just a friendly reminder to all our "fresh" faces in Congress this term, since we haven't had one for a while. In order to maintain protocol and efficiency, our Congress is run from the same place it's been run for the last 4 years, which is our National Forums. Any proposals that are meant to be in game must be proposed there first, or they are ordered against by law. To get into the Congressional forum is quite simple. Post your name and IRC nick in the Congressional Sign Up thread in Public Discussion. You'll be added, and you can post your proposal in the Congressional forum to be voted for/against or discussed with Congress as a whole.

If you do not follow those simple procedures, the remainder of the Congressional members are ordered to vote yours down, and you only get 2 per month, so please make them count.
