Ladies and Gentlemen, as Party President of the Unity Party it is my pleasure to present to you our candidates for this months congressional elections. Last month we ran 20 candidates and gained...19 seats. I have had my calculator out, and via a process of extreme algebra and advanced trigonometry, I have concluded that if we run more candidates we’ll get more seats.

Now the old adage quality over quantity springs to mind and let me assure you that our rogues gallery is brimming with some of the United Kingdoms greatest eLuminaries as well as some names to watch out for.

Enough Karacticus prattle, bring out the candidates.

The East Midlands



Mr Woldy

His Royal Highness, King Woldy the 1st does not just believe in hereditary rule. Tomorrow he shall stand before his place of birth and ask to be once more passed into the bosom of Congress.

Michael is currently a serving member of congress and has been for several months. Although he is not Royalty, I have no doubt that if elected again this month he will be an excellent addition to our countries administration.

Indiekid

What is there to say about Indiekid that hasn’t already been said? Yes he smells of butter and he does indeed have the worlds largest collection of antique shower heads. However, he is also a longstanding member of congress and a very good one at that.

One of our new kids on the block this month. Although not a known name to many in the UK, I’ve been impressed by his contributions within our private party forums and on irc. I think given the chance Smithers will grow into an excellent member of our Congress.

John has been a fixture of the UK for a long time. He’s been in government, I’m pretty sure he’s been PP of this party and has served in congress many times. We’ll call this month his comeback gig. So spare a vote for John and together we’ll drag him into V1.5.1.1.2.

Our resident boffin is indeed Dr D. Last time he was nearly cheated out of his seat by a naughty Multi Accounter. He’s an active member of our community, always up for a debate and full of great ideas.

Asher is our previous PP, ten times member of congress and our token bearded candidate. Asher is active, always ready to lend a hand and never hides away from tough debate. A vote for Asher is a sound vote.

Stefan1992

Stefan has been a member of congress 17times in his eLife. He’s held goodness knows how many goverment positions in his time and to this day continues to serve the country with the same enthusiasm he had when he was but a wee lad.

You want me to say nice things about Maddog?! But it’s Maddog! Actually when you get past the international life of crime and bad behaviour towards Ireland, he’s just actually more like an excitable puppy. Always willing to help and never short of an opinion Maddog has been a breathe of fresh air in the Commons this month. Give him another.

Sir Mic

Sir Mic has packed his bags and wondered across the pond to Northern Ireland. As a high ranking member of our countries military he’s used to a spot of travel and putting up a good fight. For a fantastic addition to congress you need to vote Sir Mic.
