[tBRE] Alliances of the eWorld - Day 1886
Tony Clifford
My beloved Belgian readers, the biweekly update on the eWorld's MPPs is here!
Last article: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-tbre-alliances-of-the-eworld-day-1872-2188191/1/20
We have almost the same number of MPPs as two weeks ago.
In day 1886, the number of MPPs is 388, 5 MPPs less than in day 1872
Day 1886 MPPs situation
As you can see, the World is now strongly divided in two big groups.
Only 5 MPPs are shared among the two groups: USA-Albania, South Africa-Greece, India-China, India-Ireland and India-Canada. In addition, the South African-Greek MPP will expire tomorrow, whereas the Indian ones will probably expire or not be renewed because of the ongoing war with Croatia.
On the left there are CoT (light blue), TWO (violet) countries and ex-CTRL (red) countries, with some other countries.
On the right we have EDEN (dark green), Asgard (yellow) and ex-TERRA (light green) countries and some others.
4 small nations remains without MPPs: Switzerland (a CoT country), the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia and Denmark (which is in union with Germany)
Finally, the USA made their decision, and asked to enter CoT as a trial member (see here)
Only the MPP with Albania links the USA with the pro-EDEN cluster of nations.
This is probably the last time that we can see the USA with their red, ex-CTRL, mask.
It is interesting to note that all the four former CTRL country joined the left group: Spain and Poland joined TWO, the USA are trial country of CoT and Brazil is pro-CoTWO.
Another important news is that Argentina left EDEN. Despite this, its MPPs continue to be with other EDEN or pro-EDEN countries.
Then, Canada decided to join Asgard. Other countries that may be interested in joining? Looking at the MPPs: Ireland and Russia.

The Alliances Bar
Based on the total monthly influence
(last article: http://www.erepublik.com/en/article/-tbre-the-military-strenght-of-cot-countries-days-1860-1880-2193117/1/20)
Alliances include TWO (violet), CoT (Blue), Asgard (yellow) and EDEN (dark green).
Despite being CoT trial member, the USA (red) are listed separately, to better see their contribution.
The most powerful neutral countries were added (Argentina (green), Brazil (dark red), Russia (orange)).
The other countries were divided in CoTWO-side neutrals (light blue) and in EDEN-side neutrals (light green) on the basis of their MPPs in day 1886.
Argentina left EDEN, but it mantains its MPPs and its damage within the EDEN-side.
USA joined CoT as a trial member. That made the CoTWO-side to gain 6.5% against EDEN. The difference is about at 15% of damage. Now CoTWO countries have a clear majority of damage.
The figures:
Coalitions A is a comparison among three sides:
CoT+USA+TWO+CoTWO neutrals vs. Brazil+Russia+Argentina vs. EDEN+Asgard+EDEN neutrals
Coalitions B is a comparison between the two main sides:
CoT+USA+TWO+CoTWO neutrals+Brazil vs. EDEN+Asgard+EDEN neutrals+Russia+Argentina

Excellent article - interesting info, thanks!
Brilliant Article as always o7
Really don't see the point of dividing ex-Terra countries into 2 groups - red and light-green. They have much more in common than differences
The "alliance" Brazil+Russia+Argentina is far-fetched and has no sense

Good article o7
Thanks Tony!
@nimnul
The big point is that red countries are ex-CTRL and fight for CoTWO side, whereas light green countries never entered CTRL and fight pro-EDEN.
In fact Brazil+Russia+Argentina is not an alliance. They're there just to see the difference between CoTWO's and EDEN's cores, excluding bigger neutrals (argentina,brazil and russia), which may follow their own agenda, independently from big alliances (and often do).
@Tony Clifford
I wouldn't say that any ex-Terra country is fighting uniquely on one side. That would be an unforgivable simplification.
@nimnul
Belgian government directly controls about 67% of the national damage, the US government only the 25%, other countries: I DON'T KNOW.
In Belgium we have pro-EDEN people and MUs, the USA the same, even Poland has pro-EDEN MUs.
What do I mean? Yes, IT IS A SIMPLIFICATION... but what do you expect?
I use monthly damage and current MPPs, and NOW, Russia has MPPs with Asgard and EDEN countries. Most of fighters and MUs all over the World do MPP battles because mobile battles can't be set as Daily Order.
I know that Russia has strong relations with the USA, Brazil, even with Bulgaria... But I can't follow orders of every single MU in every single day.
If you're able to do so, i would be glad to read your article (probably i would not, because it would be tl;dr).

Nice article again!
@Tony Clifford
In Russia the government controls about 99% of national damage and at the same time we support Asgard, some Eden countries, some CoT countries and some neutral countries. It's not a matter of MU's absolutely. It's a matter of national policy.
So marking Russia as a pro-eden or pro-whatever is just wrong. The same goes to some extent for other ex-Terra countries.
Your analysis is based on a bipolar world while many countries are extremely fed up with this paradigm and do not consider themselves a part of any "camp" even having MPPs with this or that countries.
"Your analysis is based on a bipolar world"
My analysis is based on MPPs, and MPPs say that the world is now bipolar.

Great article as always, o7
Excellent! 😃
Saludos desde eParaguay! o/

Good article. Ireland will not join Asgard, as the alliance has cooled on them somewhat. Referendum on CoT shortly and I expect them to join.
Awesome work!
