Nieuw in het spel en grote ambities? Lees de artikelen met praktische do’s en don’ts die het Ministerie van Coaching uitbrengt over alle onderwerpen die nieuwe spelers aandragen. In elk artikel staat een overzicht van eerdere artikelen, zodat je altijd een oud artikel kunt terugvinden!

Let op! We gaan deze maand alle oude artikelen herzien, omdat er nogal wat veranderingen zijn geweest met gevolgen voor onder meer marktprijzen. Dit maakt oude artikelen niet irrelevant, maar check even of bijvoorbeeld de genoemde waarde van voedsel en wapens marktconform is.



De vraag van vandaag: hoe kun je op verhuiskosten besparen?

Als beginnende speler is het leven in eRep behoorlijk prijzig. Hoewel (gewonnen) moving tickets het verhuizen wat betaalbaarder maken, blijft dat toch een grote kostenpost. Daarbij is de reden dat je wilt verhuizen waarschijnlijk dat je niet kunt vechten vanuit de regio waar je verblijft. Let op! In het begin kan het soms slimmer zijn om liever niet te vechten dan dat je onnodig experience points behaalt (waardoor je ongewild sneller naar de hogere, moeilijkere divisies gaat). Zeker als je de immens hoge wapenprijzen optelt bij de verhuiskosten.



Wanneer moet je verhuizen om te vechten?
Landen kunnen op 2 manieren oorlog voeren: in een directe aanval (met NE of Natural Enemy verklaring) of om een bezette regio te bevrijden in een Resistance War (RW) - te herkennen aan het rode vuistje. Spelers uit andere landen kunnen in beide gevallen meevechten, maar er gelden verschillende regels, en die bepalen of je moet verhuizen:

1. RW battle: je kunt alleen meevechten vanuit het land dat de opstandige regio bezet. Als je daar bent, kies je de battle en de kant waarvoor je wilt vechten. Verhuiskosten zijn niet te vermijden als je in deze battles wilt vechten.

2. NE battle: bondgenoten kunnen meevechten vanuit hun eigen land. Een bondgenootschap betekent ingame dat twee landen een Mutual Protection Pact (MPP) hebben gesloten.

Meeliften op MPP’s van andere landen
Omdat een MPP beide landen 10.000 CC kost, kunnen veel (kleine) landen, ook wij, dit niet meer betalen. Zijn al je regio’s bezet, ook dan heb je niets aan je MPP’s. Maar.... je kunt bij een NE battle wel meevechten vanuit elk ander land dat een MPP heeft met het land waarvoor je wilt vechten.





Volg in elk geval niet automatisch de link die je krijgt!
Als je vanuit (bijvoorbeeld) Nederland wilt vechten in een NE battle in het buitenland, krijg je automatisch het bericht dat je moet verhuizen. Je kunt dan kiezen voor een van de twee landen die in oorlog zijn. DOE DAT NIET! Controleer eerst of je kunt vechten vanuit een land dichterbij dat een MPP heeft met het land waarvoor je wilt vechten.

Hoe weet je naar welk land je het best kunt verhuizen?
1. Klik op ‘No thanks’ als je het verhuisbericht te zien krijgt, waarna je het scherm krijgt met campaign details.
2. Onder de naam van het land waarvoor je wilt vechten zie je ‘xx allies’ staan.
3. Als je daarop klikt zie je de lijst met landen van waaruit je kunt vechten



Verhuis vervolgens op de normale manier:
1. Klik op je avatar
2. Klik op je profielpagina onder je grote avatar op ‘location: change’
3. Selecteer het dichtstbijzijnde land (liefst met veel MPP’s)
4. Zoek de goedkoopste regio



Nog een paar do's en don'ts die je verder kunnen helpen:

1. Vecht alleen voor je Daily Order, kun je die niet meer halen (geen wapens/voedsel) vecht dan niet.

2. Kun je nog niet elke dag je DO halen, vecht dan alleen in battles waarvoor je niet hoeft te verhuizen.

3. Wil je verhuizen voor een Battle Hero of Freedom Fighter medal, besef dan wel dat het goud dat je wint op het moment niet veel waard is. De kosten voor je wapens, voedsel, verhuizen moeten dat wel waard zijn!

4. Verhuis liefst naar landen met veel MPP’s, de kans is dan groter dat je minder snel weer moet verhuizen.

5. Ben je verhuisd naar vijandelijk gebied of is het gewonnen door de vijand, let de volgende dag op dat je niet per ongeluk voor de verkeerde kant vecht!

2. kom naar de IRC (weet je niet hoe: lees dan dit artikel!) waar je op het kanaal #coachingNL kunt chatten en live al je vragen kunt stellen
3. verdiep je in de uitgebreide wiki-pagina’s die op alle aspecten van het spel ingaan.

Mind this! In the upcoming month we will review all old articles, because we have seen quite some ingame changes with effect on for instance market prices. This does not make old articles irrelevant, but do check if mentioned value of food and weapons are still up to date.



Today’s question: how can you save money on moving costs?

For a starting player, life in eRep can be pretty expensive. Though (won) moving tickets may ease the costs for moving a little, costs are still quite high. That aside, your reason for moving would likely be that you cannot fight from the region you are staying. But watch out! In the beginning it may actually be smarter not to fight at all rather than gain unnecessary experience points (unwantedly making you level up faster into the higher, more difficult divisions). Especially if you add up the immensely high weapon costs and the moving tickets.



When do you need to move for a fight?
There are 2 ways in which countries can be at war: in a direct attack (with NE or Natural Enemy declaration) or to free an occupied region in a Resistance War (RW) - to be recognised after the red fist. Players from other countries can join the battle in both cases, but rules are different, and they define if you need to move:

1. RW battle: you can only join the fight from the country that has occupied the rebellious region. Once there, you pick the battle and the side you want to fight for. Moving costs cannot be avoided if you want to fight in these battles.

2. NE battle: allies can join the fight from their own regions. Being allies ingame means that two countries have signed a Mutual Protection Pact (MPP).

’Piggyback’ on other countries’ MPP’s
Since an MPP costs 10.000 CC on both sides, many (smaller) countries, us concluded, cannot afford this anymore. Also, when all of your regions are occupied, your MPP’s are useless. But.... in case of an NE battle you can join the fight from any other country that has an MPP with the country you want to fight for.





Do NOT automatically follow the link provided!
Should you want to fight from (for instance) the Netherlands in a foreign NE battle, you will automatically get a moving message. It offers to move to either one of the countries at war. DON’T DO THIS! First check if you can fight from a country closerby that has an MPP with the country you wish to fight for.

How to know which country to move to?
1. Click on ‘No thanks’ in the moving message, after that you go to campaign details.
2. Below the name of the country you want to fight for, it says ‘xx allies’.
3. Click on that and you will see a list of countries you can fight from .



Next, move as usual:
1. Click on your avatar
2. On your profile page click ‘location: change’ (below the larger avatar)
3. Select the nearest country (preferably with many MPP’s)
4. Select the cheapest region



A few do's and don'ts that can help you ahea😛

1. Only fight for your Daily Order, if you cannot make it anymore (no weapons/food) don’t fight.

2. If you are not able to do your DO every day, only fight in battles you don‘t have to move for.

3. If you want to move for a Battle Hero of Freedom Fighter medal, mind that the gold reward is not worth very much. At least hold it against the costs for weapons, food and moving!

4. Preferably move to countries with many MPP’s, chances are up you won’t have to move again too soon.

5. Did you move to hostile territory or was the region lost? Watch out not to fight on the wrong side the next day!
