Hello eWorld!

I have another manifesto for you today for this month’s congress elections. Before I begin I would like to make it very clear where I am running: I will be running (if Connor West gets round to moving me into an official candidate spot 😛) in the North West of England in the APP however, I am not an APP candidate, I am a member of the UKRP who has moved to the APP in order to stop a political enemy running in the congress elections.

So why vote for me?

Experience



If I am honest with you I believe experience to be very much over-rated in congress elections. Yes there are things which new players need to learn but in all honesty they are not very difficult, simply being forum and irc active (or at the very least using them both on occasion) gives you all the qualifications you need as far as I am concerned.

If you are looking for an experienced player to vote for there are better candidates than me to vote for. That is not to say that I am inexperienced (with 6 congress terms and 2 party president terms under my belt), but others have more than 20 terms in congress and even country president experience in some cases.

Attitude



I believe this is one of the key features of a good congressman. A congressman should be willing to fight for his beliefs and to represent not just his region but the whole of the UK as well as he can. However, he should also be willing to accept that others were voted in to congress to represent their own views and so he should be open to compromise.

We need to work together in parliament. It’s not about political point-scoring, old rivalries or personal gain, it’s about the eUK. However, having said all this about attitude, I will not spend the next few paragraphs telling you about my attitude for 2 reasons: firstly, because it’s just words and anyone can claim to have a good attitude and secondly because I should be showing my attitude every day, so you should know my character and my attitudes.

Activity



So here is, in my opinion, the other fundamental requirement for a congressman. She/he should be active enough to be available when and if a member of the community needs assistance. Furthermore they should put themselves forward and encourage people to come to them for any assistance they might need.

I like to think that I do this. Over the last month I have sent out many messages to new and existing players, I have been available on the forums and in game and I have even written help articles for the ministry of home affairs. Hopefully I have made myself accessible and I invite anyone and everyone to message me if you need any help or have any questions.

Conclusion

In conclusion I am a candidate in the wrong party and am not the most experienced option, I hope however that I am approachable and helpful and that I am active enough to do the country proud. If there is one thing to add, it is that I remain 100% committed to furthering the cause of the eUK and to building a strong community. I am not asking you to vote for me outright, I am asking for you to bear me in mind when making your decision about who to vote for.

If anyone wishes to vote for me I can fund the move for them to the North west of england (a move they will have to make in order to vote for me)
