In this article I would like to explain the Ministry of Justice, its tasks, and goals.
Introducing the MoJ
The MoJ is the minister who makes social rules and keeps an eye on the state of the law book, he also creates punishments on the social rules.
The MoJ will be as neutral as possible and his powers are more oriented to the judicial branch.
Why
Several people who wish to stay anonymous have told me that they are fed up with the fights between members, which they call 'not political' and I have to agree with those people, not only that, rules are applied on an arbitrary basis rather than its the rules its going to happen this way.
the lawbook also contains a lot of loopholes, unclearities, and in overall, is still outdated. both of these problems need to be solved.

I hope I enlightened the MoJ, I know some people do not like the idea, but its worth trying out, and it is needed.

So, the MoJ can punish me when i will be CM or gov member for political fights inside ? Or is it only for citizens ?
everyone, if you make racial marks or if your political fights are not really political but personal then yes you have to be punished, just like criminals and offenders in real life get punished, however MoJ does not boss the CoC, which still has to police the congress members himself and stop political fights before they get out of hand (because only then the MoJ can do stuff)
Since he'd be a gov member any CM can start a MoNC against him if he abuses his power.
I don't think it's about political debates. It's about things which already now could get you punished on the forum.
Insulting people on purpose, etc.
well we already have the forum mods/admins for that. same with irc. if it really gets out of hand they will step in.

I trust the mods/admits to do their job well. I really don't see anything useful in this plan.

I think Ministry of Justice is a bad idea, I've seen similar such things including courts and nowhere they have been successful in the whole erepublik history. Punishments aren't enforceable, who gives MoJ the power to punish people for something they have done on the forum and or irc? We have rules on both and people to enforce them. Also I've seen these kind of instances being abused, people getting abused for no reason or justice used to punish political opponents. Who will make those decisions who get punished? Who appoints the persons who punish? Are they neutral? As I've seen this happening many times in many different countries in erepublik from my experience in this game having a justice system is not a good idea and will only cause more dividing of the country.
This feels more like the MoJ will have all power, like a dictator

Congress should create rules, police should be observer, and only MoJ should be the one who gives punishments due to the rules, which are accepted or declined by the congress. --> Trias politica.
Imo, If the MoJ is the congress, the police and the Judge, he is more like a totalitarian order itself.
