[Irish Army] The new beginning!

Day 3,064, 16:15 Published in Ireland South Korea by Don Croata

Hello soldiers of Eire!
As a new Irish Army Commander it’s my pleasure to present you the new Irish Army! Stronger and more organise than it ever was. Most of the things you’re going to read about in this article are going to be achieved in the next week, with no further delays. I’m planning to make this MU the strongest one Ireland has ever had and with your support and help, we’re surely going to make it happen.

Some basics about the Irish Army

Irish Army is the eIreland’s National Military Unit. It’s funded by the state and it follows the DoD orders no matter what. Irish Army is politically neutral and it should always stay that way. Irish Army is also a MU for all the Irish citizens, regardless of their habits, political affilation, division or anything else. There’s a place for everyone.

This is the reason why we’re going to launch the first survey tonight, in which we’re going to ask the current members of the Irish Army about their habits, intentions, prime time to fight and lots of other stuff. I’d like to meet the members first, see how they can contribute the most and how the Irish Army can help them the most.

Regiments organisation

We’re going to separate ourselves in several Regiments, in which:

1st Regiment is going to be for those soldiers who are going to join the national strikes, fight hard, follow the orders all the time and make the most active part of the Irish Army. So called mobile troops which are going to wave the Irish flag all over the battlefields. This is the core of the future Irish Army and those soldiers are going to recieve the biggest amount of supplies.

2nd Regiment is going to be for those soldiers who aren’t that active, basicly 2clickers which come occassionally to fill the DO and recieve the daily reward. They won’t be obligated to wear an avatars or do some extra meta-work.

3rd Regiment will be for those in lower divisions without packs. Soldiers who are training their way to become strong tanks once. These guys are the future of the country and we’ll take the special care for them. Their supplies are going to be somewhat different.

Other regiments will be reserved either to expand the current ones when those reach the limit, or for the other MU’s which would like the merge with the Irish Army and be the part of the National MU, but still have some level of independence. Many soldiers cares about their small communities and there’s no reason to break it. However, this kind of Regiments won’t be recieving state funds as they are going the be the MU inside of the MU.

Each Regiment will have its own Captain which is going to be the link between the HQ of the Irish Army and its soldiers. Each Regiments has its own purpose which shouldn’t be underestimated. We’re not all the same and we can’t all have the same habits playing this game. It’s understandable however, that those active soldiers which spends more time here and contributes more to the country should be rewarded more than the others. More damage you do - more supplies you recieve, it’s simple as that. More that you contribute, more the state will appreciate you.

Communes & Supplies

Irish Army is going to organise its own Commune system, our members and contributors are in the possession of several Q7 companies we’re planning to put in use. Except the communes in which some parts of the Irish Army is going to be obligated to work in (if they want supplies) we’re going to be funded by the state and independent contributors as well as members donations. The budget haven’t been set yet, due to current unrest on the political scene, but we’ll have the numbers soon. Each soldier of IA is going to be directed to join the Commune and become an active soldier.

Supplies are going to be decided later, according to our budget. Which is still unknown. Since some things are known already, I believe the supplies will be in this order:

1) Active soldiers (already mentioned) will recieve at least 12 Q7 weapons + 50 Q5 food. In the addition to this they will also be rewarded for every extra damage they make. For example, BiednyMis and Nerusia will be able to recieve up to 500 Q7 weps per week.

2) Soldiers who won’t be as active as the first group, but are willing to work in the IA companies are going to recieve 12 Q7 weps + 50 Q5 food per day.

3) Inactive members (those who aren’t working in the communes) won’t recieve any supplies. Their importance is still significant since they are the ones who are going to fill the DO’s to recieve daily rewards, so they are going to recieve 20 Q7 tanks in the end of the week.

4) Low Division players who aren’t fighting are going to recieve 80 IEP cash each day once they prove themselves active in the game, IRC and other ways.

*this is just a scratch for now and all the supplies are going to be furtherly analysed once we have a secured budget.

New Uniforms

Changing the Uniforms of the IA soldiers will be a sign of new changes. These uniforms has been used in the times when Irish Army has been on its top. These uniforms are well known both to our allies and enemies and you should wear them with pride. I believe Seanan has created them back in 2010 or something like that. Each IA soldiers will be able to have their personal picture within the common frame.

As you can see, some other design is also being used in this article. It maybe doesn’t look that important, but trust me - it is. We need simple and catchy things, it leaves the bigger mark and impression on those who see it.

Coordinated Strikes

We are going to organise Coordinated Strikes on IRC in which we’re going to distribute some extra weapons. Those strikes will be organised as often as possible as they are very useful for the strenght and reputation of the MU. Imagine 30 Irish soldiers fighting together, bringing the Irish flags all over the battlefield. Once your allies see you fighting like this, turning battles in the crucial moments you’re going to win their eternal friendship. That’s what we’re going to do, fight together. As much as possible, as strong as possible. We will reborn the term ‘Fighting Irish’. Strikes will take place usually around 13-14 erep time, which suppose to be our ‘prime time’.

The organised strikes are going to take place on our IRC channel - #IrishArmy (you can find direct link in the end of the article). For those who don’t know how to use IRC, or especially Chatzilla, which is by far the best IRC client of all can simply CHECK THIS ARTICLE (scroll to Chatzilla part) and get it for themselves. It’s free, it’s easy to use, it’s simple and it’s very useful. Trust me, you’re never going to regret getting this for yourself.

Our goals

Irish Army wants to become the strongest Irish military unit and have about 90% of Irish damage. My expectation is that after regrutation we should have about 100 active soldiers, of which at least 30-40 will show up for the coordinated strikes. It will take us some time and a lot of hard work, but I’m sure we’re going to be successful.

By making Irish Army strong, we will, in the same time make Ireland strong, which is the reason why Irish Army even exists. So, don’t forget that we’re all here for the Ireland and its allies. We’ve shown loyalty over this years, now we should show that we’re more than capable to organise ourselves into the strong army and become a true force of the eWorld. I’m sure we can do this, but I need you to be sure as well!

Soon after solving the basic stuff we’re going to start analysing our statistics, create a database of our members so we can follow their needs and habits more precisely. Anyway, there’s a lot of things to do and with your support, we’ll be able to become majestic Military Unit, the one eIreland and Irish history deserves.
