[CP Candidate] Happy New Year!
Oraizan
It was a stressful day for me today, so much going on lately. But it’s a new year, time to start it off on a good note! Happy New Year all, I hope you had as much fun as I did over the holidays. (not, I worked too much!)
Plans
A lot of stuff I mentioned in my old article I still want to push forward with. I’ll take a moment to outline the new stuff though. If you want to know more about me in general go here.
You shouldn’t be president if you can’t make yourself regularly available to eRep and it’s citizens. That being said, I have a lot of time in January (especially since I have some vacation time) so I’ll be here, win or lose, to help you guys.
Transparent
Transparency has been a huge issue in eJapan, and I plan to make all ministries open to the public as much as possible. If something isn’t transparent enough, say the word. I will be active where any minister cannot be, that includes letting people know what is going on, although I will leave majority of such up to the minister of media. That way everybody can keep informed.
Ministry of Security
Personally I see this as one of the most important positions. All of the messages will be public for all to see, and i’ll leave the questions asked open to be changed with the help of the community. I believe Tom has done a good job setting up the structure, but I would like to see things done more publicly and also bring forth a charter for the ministry.
Mentor Program
I’d like to see it brought back. Lucifel has done a good job, at his own initiative, for the new citizens of eJapan. Lately many people have been aspiring to help as well, so I’d like to see some more structure to the ‘helping’ instead of people having to post that they will help everywhere. This will also intertwine with the ministry of media, and hopefully become something kept for many terms to come.
Community
It’s a big wish, but I’d like to see the community much more whole. I’ve been a neutral party this whole time, and plan to remain one until my death bed, but as president I will have the chance to bring all sides together. Although it’s unlikely, it is something I am thinking about trying to accomplish for the future. Sadly I am no Kokawayoshi Makoto. (hope he gets active again, hinthint)
Alliances
I’ve been meaning to do this for a couple terms, and have some rough work done. One thing I hear a lot, is that not many citizens know much about our alliance, or any of the other ones either. So I made the initiative to have an alliance subforum for information, questions and discussion. I’d like to see this more active, and elected or not I’ll personally finish this myself with my free time.
Cabinet
Many of my choices are being carried over from last month’s choices, except for those who declined. I haven’t asked anybody if they’re willing to work with me however, or if they’re busy in January. Cabinet is subject to change, albeit, slightly. Let me know if you’re able or not so I can find a replacement~
All Ministers are entitled to pick their own vice, or not have one.
vPresident (Prime Minister) - DankChronic
As last year- “He's a long time loyal eJapanese and one of the more unbiased. Our schedules are different. I believe it important for the vP to be around when you are not able to be.” given he has the time to do so.
Minister of Defence - Ahava3233
She has a lot of time this month, and her articles have always been top quality. I’d like to see an active fresh face to the ministry.
Minister of Finance - Darshu
I’m glad we got a fresh face into this ministry, and I’d like to see him continue. I know there is still an issue with transparency, but I can personally help him do so. I don’t want to trust a new person to this responsibility just yet.
Minister of Foreign Affairs - Hizaya
I explained it before, and I still agree. What’s important is a relationship with eRoC and our CoT allies, as well as those who helped us. Hizaya has this, more than even myself, and anybody else.
Minister of Internal Affairs (Governer) - Tarasino Somebody to work with the congress and push to get things done. One big issue is communication between the cabinet and congress, and the MoIA should cover this. Also need somebody to pay closer attention to the fine details of our laws, and make sure they’re followed.
Minister of Education - Kitsune Usureki
Although he had a rough start to -this- term, he fixed up the ministry, and I’d like to give him another term to set his work into stone.
Director of Senpai/Kouhai Program - Hakaisha
Most loyal to the job, of course.
Director of Graphics - Zodiarque
With the revival of MoM, the government will need a lot of help with graphics.
Minister of Culture and Events - Sir Robin Ibz
To bring events to eJapan once or twice a week, and run empress day.
Minister of Media - Myung Kei
Willing to do the work, and somebody who has a way with words.
If you have any questions just ask. It’s a new year, time to put the past behind us and work towards a better future for eJapan. Let us make 2013 a year eJapan grows into a great country.
~ Oraizan
P.S.
For Tohru~
For everybody else~

Nice choices, although I think it would be awesome if you and Akki could place each other in each other's cabinets.
Anyway, you give me a selection:
Yuri from some series I've never heard of or Mikuru's breasts...
I abstain.
good luck 😁

good to know you are at least active enough to write an manifesto article (and I know you are much more active) unlike "some" candidates.
Voted, best of luck.

Oraizan for Prez!
Voted in the good article, also correct the expression: "minister of defence" to "minister of defense"
V+S
@Lucifel I think it's British vs American English
but if we want to be perfectly accurate, you are right: "defense" is form used on our forums

as well as the RL thing http://www.mod.go.jp/index.html

Good Luck!

I like the first picture more.
@Mii and Lucifel
Yes that is exactly what it is, I'm 100% positive that defence is the typical British English (and commonwealth) spelling while defense is typical in American English and other forms of english.
Vote + I have subscribed to your newspaper , sub 83

go for it!
I asked Akki, he declined being in my cabinet due to IRL stuff. I would have liked to have more DNP in my cabinet than usu also, but the ones I wanted said no last month without a reason.
And yes i dont speak or write in American English, but British English.
So akki is not active enough to be a minister, but is active enough to be a CP??? I really hope this is all one bad joke from akki and that he will soon publish an article saying "dont vote for me, I am not active..."
Support, i would like to see you win, but i don't think you will, unfortunately. Anyway, if you need any assistance, please let me know o7
Voted! Let's make this a good month!
@Agatos
I didn't say I'll be inactive next month. I have time next month, but I plan on allocating my time differently according to the result of election.
All I said was, If I'm elected, I'll probably focus more on erepublik to get stuff done next month. There are stuff that needs to get dealt with in eJapan, and I hope to get a good start on that (and hopefully finish it). If I am not elected, then I'd like to focus more on Real Life stuff which is not urgent (like eating up my time), but could use some extra time to improve. Either way it works for me.
ok, I was angry because it looked like you were so lazy that you wouldnt even write a manifesto... But I was wrong
Best of luck !!
Onee-chama ganbatte !!
Eh... You want to... "bring back" the mentoring program? We do have a mentoring program but it requires a kind of activity, which most new players don't have (for e.g. writing a simple letter to the current MoE). The Senpai/Kohai program is active, and it is an organ of the Ministry of Education thus Hakaisha is a member of this ministry. I recommend to read my article I wrote about my team : http://www.erepublik.com/hu/article/ministry-of-education1-2180090/1/20
If You are willing to ask me to be MoE (which you did not in this month) in chase you win the election, then there are conditions you have to accept. But of course if you are satisfied with my job in the past two terms, then these conditions are nothing 😁 - I always listen to others' opinions, but I usually like organizing alone, or with the people I choose.
The old mentoring program from the golden era, and the new mentoring program, are completely different. To have 'the best' program for new people, both should be intertwined. Alone they're weak, imho.
As I sai😛 "Many of my choices are being carried over from last month’s choices, except for those who declined. I haven’t asked anybody if they’re willing to work with me however, or if they’re busy in January. Cabinet is subject to change, albeit, slightly. Let me know if you’re able or not so I can find a replacement~"
^ in the article above the cabinet choices. I only asked new people, or those I was unsure would -want- the position as to have less changes to the article.
"Minister of Education - Kitsune Usureki
Although he had a rough start to -this- term, he fixed up the ministry, and I’d like to give him another term to set his work into stone."
I also said under your description that you brought the ministry together, and need another term to set it into stone and finalize things. However, with a new president and cabinet comes new idea's, which you will also have to be open to. I am nothing but a person of reason and fact. I don't believe you have finished your work in MoE, and there is a lot of things, with the help of a MoM, which can be improved upon.
Good luck!
35% is not enough to win the CP election
Geezus: No matter the chances during my days people wished the candidates good luck and didn't show numbers to them
it wouldnt be geezus if he wasnt being a total douche bag
DW Guys, it's just geezus being a pathetic human being like always.
Nobody said I would win, or Akki. I'm not against Akki winning, although I don't agree with his way about doing things, which is why I run, he's not a bad candidate. I've known him a long time and have enough trust in him to trust him with eJapan and it's assets.
Whoever wins or loses, at least we will also have a second candidate that is a good one, for impeachment sake.
I am intested to see if I get more votes then I should get though, again. It's a warm feeling when not everybody party-line votes. It's a good sign that eJapan is in a better direction.
@Squib; If only we were back in those days. But now you sound old. 😁
Ora: Did you just call me old? ....
"During my days" makes you sound like an old person. 😁
Geezus, sometimes you still win when you lose. I'm sure Oraizan chose this battle carefully, she must have her reasons for running even if she loses (ie: she might raise interest in a cause or something). Oh...you say 35% but you didn't cite your source for that figure and either way she still has a chance; just sayin, anything can happen in life.
I'm not against Akki winning here (if anything I think both would be good presidents), but vaguely contemptful comments s such as those are why our country is still so divided today. It's a disgrace we still bicker over these things.
More future mikuru picture, and i will think to vote for you in next election
I just noted that none of the three strongest party supports Oraizan.
If she win this election there is two cases:
-impeachment
-can't do anything because congress doesnt support her - Lame duck
That is why i think Oraizan is not a good CP candidate for the country
Geezus is afraid of Oraizan wining.
You make her sound like rl Obama with the current US congress (with lots of tea party republicans filibustering everything)--I don't think people in the parties supporting Akki will by without fail filibuster all of her initiatives. Tbh I don't see a single comment against Oraizan here except by you.
As for Akki, the trend is the same on his article save Tarasino's comment (and even then I'm not sure if he's being anti-Akki or anti-DNP/ULJ).
Happy New Years to all
ahava: Geezus trying to give a pragmatic comment here.
that is why we can't unite ourself. too many flaming here
oraizan: more future mikuru (boobs) please. I think it will be better for this article, rather than tl;dr version 😃
(same with Akki)
ard, he puts it more in a sense of being an arrogent know-it-all arsehat rather than being pragmatic, that's the issue here. Also remarking upon the fact that he seemingly has no intention of letting any DNP congressmembers work with oraizan, and remarks that she should be impeached because she doesn't think the same way as him.
Oraizan is unacceptable for Sakurakai because she called them PTOers and also unacceptable for Dai Nippon because she called us criminals. Now Oraizan is no better candidate than me, she cant represent unity in Japan.
If ISP wants to win, first need a candidate who is acceptable for the both side.
If she really wants unity as she says, she have to support Akki.
This election is a clear evidence, that only Dai Nippon/Sakurakai "side" able to make sacrifices for unity and for Japan. (ULJ is a neutral party, their runing is not a problem)
There will never be unity in eJapan, done deal. Akki isn't any Unity candidate either, you just vote for him since he is one of the few who hasn't bothered to speak up about your BS actions in the past.
Geezus you don't want unity all you want is submission, so shut up and go to bark somewhere else.
ULJ neutrality is as real as your IQ being over 40 while it's probably negative.
