[Boh4PM] Man of the People - Warfare, Cabinet, Finances

Day 2,050, 14:31 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Bohemond4

Dear friends, readers, and the eUK

What is often regarded as the most juicy part of a CP candidates policies is their stance on Foreign Affairs, especially the Military. So today I am going to move onto these policies, following on from my announcement of my candidacy and my Domestic policies.

Bohemond4 prepares for battle

Cabinet

A government cannot function without Ministers, they organise the various Ministries and make sure people are up to date with what they are supposed to be doing. This is why Ministers need to be active and make sure they are doing their job throughout the month.

Under a Boh government, Ministers will provide myself with a schedule detailing when they will release necessary updates from their Ministry. My government will be held accountable, and so any Minister not doing their tasks will be removed from the position they hold.

If you would like to be a Minister under a Bohemond4 administration, please apply today. The positions currently unfilled are laid out in the GDoc.

Foreign Affairs

One of the issues raised in the survey I took was that a slightly higher percentage felt uninformed about wider international movements. As part of my mission to increase communication I will be ensuring that not only does the MoFA release more articles regarding the global movements of power, conquest and alliances that in ‘A View From Number 10’ I shall also briefly cover Foreign Affairs as a round up.

As previous governments have done, II will keep the eUK committed to TWO and working with our allies on taking control of the world, as well as honouring last months peace agreement with Ireland. Under Boh, we will not be going to war with Ireland unless they break the agreement signed last month, then, and only then, will our flags fly in Dublin again.

On the MPP front, we have a lot at the moment - mainly to do with the current war. Some of these are less useful than others and are costing a lot, however, many were paid for in part by our allies. This is a gesture we appreciate. I shall be reviewing our entire MPP stack for those we can keep, those we can drop and those we need to add.

What can you expect?
- Honoured Agreements
- A review of MPPs
- Supporting TWO
- More Updates

Military

As part of Woldy’s government last month, both my rival and myself were instrumental in the establishment of the current incarnation of the National Military, which is not perfect and requires trial and error. There has been a lot of support for the continuation of this policy over another month and I will be doing so. Depending on what has been discussed at the end of the term I will be meeting with all the commanders of the Military Units and discussing the best way to move forward as a united Military.

If you have looked at a map recently, you will see that we are running out of enemies in which to fight, Poland and Spain border us on two sides, an agreement sits with Ireland France and Germany and we have a neutral stance with Belgium despite our invasion under Woldy. Norway remains as a viable target for attack, indeed, throughout the entire world as TWO and Friends wipe nation after nation there is a reduction in enemies. However, we know that True Patriot medals are great for our youngsters and war builds unity in the nation.

I could promise an invasion of Norway, or Belgium, again, but I won’t. I will, instead, draw our eyes to a button we have been on the receiving end of once before. That, friends, is the Airstrike button. I have a target in mind, a nation yet held from TWO, but one that requires assistance from TWO for us to drive into, and one I have no doubt we can take on with that help. I can say that I will approach the TWO High Command with a plan asking for support and backing to carry this out should I be elected, failing that, there are a couple more targets we can hit which we should be able to deal with by ourselves, or with little help.

Bohemond4 and Cyg wage war with style

Expect:
- Support to National Military
- Invasions
- Possible Airstrike

Finances

A topic of recent discussion, the nature of finances and Government held Orgs has been brought to a political debate, something I feel should not be political in nature - it is the nation's cash and assets being debated here and should not be held as a political football.

I will not be launching any wide sweeping financial reform, whether how we conduct the MM or the distributing of Orgs. What I will do from day one of my term will be to collate what Orgs we have out to which person/Military Unit ensuring that every MU in the National Military, and then all over 15 members, have one Org to start with free of charge should they so desire one. All additional Orgs after this will be lent out to private individuals and the Military Units based on a first come first served negotiation with the government, including the capacity to actually fill these Orgs, this will also include any combinations of individuals and Military Units who bring 50k cc to an Org.

Finally, I shall be ensuring that the Ministry of Finance publishes weekly reports on what we have spent and where, what profits/losses we are experiencing and making sure that we are transparent in our dealings.

A Boh Government will make Finances:
- transparent
- supporting MU’s with Orgs, the rest to help our govt
- not treated as a political football

So remember, for a government that listens to the people and takes into account what you say, vote Bohemond44CP on the 5th July for transparency, integrity, honesty and communication.

Cheers
Bohemond4,
Viscount of Cambridge; Prime Ministerial Candidate
