Dia Dhuit Ireland,

We were hoping to release this on Wednesday, but due to RL events, we will be doing it a day early. However as per normal, the Department of Information will give you a brief update on what has been happening across the board and touch on a few things that will happen in the future.


President of Ireland

Our President Machiavelli has continued his stellar work in his role as CP. Recently signing off on a deal that see's our regions returned as well as a training war with MKD that will enable the Irish citizens to get TP/RW/RH medals. As well as being busy overseeing the operations of each department and ensuring they are working at full capacity to ensure only the best for all in Ireland.


Department of Finance

Recently released their first 'Weekend Update', which highlighted funds found hidden away in Orgs as well as the chance to rent an Org for yourself. Out of the 10 Orgs offered, 1 has been signed for and it looks like another 4 will happen later this week.

The DoF has also let us in on a little secret that the taxes are on their way up due to the release of occupied territories and we should be expecting some good figures coming through on their next weekend update. It might be to early to call, but it appears that this terms tax income will eclipse the last two terms.

Also we have been told that the MoF will soon be playing on the MM. This has come about by two interest free loans totaling 360k for use on the markets. When the current government took over, they inherited a very small government fund, it was deemed not worth the effort to play on the MM. However with this free loan, the government can use that money for MM movements to ensure maximum income is made for all of Ireland.


Department of Defence


The DoD has continued their hard work in ensuring the NAP/Region Handback/TW deal was done. We as a whole would like to pass our thanks onto the Spanish government in releasing the occupied regions.

The DoD will now concentrate on the upcoming MKD Training War as well as joing the DoFA in discussing the possibility of a 2nd TW on another countries regions.


Department of Foreign Affairs

The Department of Foreign Affairs fresh from negotiations with MKD/Spain in regards to occupied regions, has opened talks with 3 different nations in regards to the possibility of a parallel TW. These talks, however are in the very early stages.

In the mean time the DoFA is busy in increasing Ireland's MPP stack that was left to disappear by the previous terms government. This will allow our fighters to reach out an assist our friends from afar in their battles.

In other news, if anyone is interested in joining a round table discussion on multiple items, including Citizens ship/Immigration issues, Economy issues, Potential new player grants, Business grants, please contact Rusty D. With the movement away from the dictatorship of eIreland, we have a chance to help re-grow our nation, to do so, we need experienced and knowledgeable people to help contribute idea's to establish Ireland on the map again.

These round table discussions will cover several points and will be able to work out the best strategy before presenting them to congress for approval. So dont be shy, ask to join in and help create a better eIreland.
