[ESO] The ESO Times

Day 3,352, 04:58 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by VoodooMike71

We should probably rename this. As a title, “The ESO Times” doesn’t really capture just how cool, how vibrant or how pant-wettingly exciting ESO really is.

Which is a shame.

But, like with so many things, it’s all about having the time to change it. And when you’re in a party like ESO, there simply isn’t enough time. Because you spend all your precious time doing stuff that’s cool, vibrant and pant-wettingly exciting. Obviously.

Here are some examples…

Party President
Last month we elected promising newcomer Reginald Kray as our PP. Unfortunately the excitement proved to be a bit too much for him and he exploded.

However, we don’t let details get in the way of our promise to nurture and support young players, so this month we elected alternative promising newcomer Biacklist as PP instead. And, one week in, things are going very nicely. He hasn’t exploded (yet).

PS: if you want to spam him, that second letter is an “i” not an “l”. Cool.

Congress
After our glorious return to Congress last month, bolstered by our generous offer to WRP to keep them in Congress too, our Congressmen have performed superbly - as we would expect. When ESO are in Congress you can always count on us to turn up, take part and vote - and this month is no exception.

Our internal Congress PM is stuffed full of “I voted Yes on that MPP” and “I voted Yes on the latest in the endless stream of tax-lowering proposals”. We occasionally get annoyed by proposals that are put to Congress without any support or reasoning offered, but that just shows that we care.

PS: the next set of Congress elections will (probably, hopefully) soon be upon us. We’re currently in the process of putting together our next set of candidates. We trust we can rely on your vote?

Every Single Fighter
A couple of months ago we set up the first new MU since BAF, designed specifically to support young players. It all went very well, to the extent that ESF was making it into the UK’s weekly top five MU’s. Unfortunately Reggie’s untimely explosion has thrown a bit of a spanner into the works, but we’re sorting that out with the resurrection of the infamous Legion.

Watch this space.

Media
As you’d expect, ESO have continued to be very active in the media. Because someone has to be.

Along with a raft of “help me do the 25 comments thing please “ articles (for instance here), here are some of the highlights:

Ska2D2’s British Library of help articles as well as his King of the Hill game.

Euphorbus’ Finnish Sing-A-Long and impassioned Finlandia plea

WizardKelly’s five-part Play a game with me series

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. If you want media activity, you want ESO.

So there you have it - a quick summary some of the many things the eUK’s favourite party has been up to recently. Obviously we can’t show you too much in case we blow your mind. We’ve had a bit of a problem with explosions recently.

However, if you want to know more and you think you’re up to it, feel free to join us. Your friends will be jealous and filled with admiration, and you’ll definitely get more girls if you do.

Lots of love,

ESO Spokesman
