[EDEN] Taking a stand

Houston, we have a problem. And it is a problem that affects all of us, and not just EDEN. As you all know the Admins took the decision to close down regular organizations. The only organizations left are the national ones. So far so good.

A couple of days ago something happen. In Moldavia, the country president asked the admins to reset the passwords and emails to all national organizations. And that`s precisely what they did. This is where the problem lays. They did not give the CP control over ministerial organizations only but also to the national organizations created and controlled by military units.

The New World is filled with military units, some of them strong enough to gather 50 up to 100 players or even more. Such military units need money, resources, weapons, food, companies and so on. All this can be stored in organizations. Storing everything on a citizen account can give birth to mistrust and even theft in some cases. This is what organizations were used for instead. Now, with the removal of regular organizations, many of them were forced to transfer them into national ones.

At Moldavian president`s request the Admins gave him control over the organizations of 3 important Romanian (& EDEN) military units stationed in that country. This is pretty much giving away the work of so many peoples to one individual FOR FREE. Everything they worked for, everything they built is now gone thank to rash decisions taken by Admins without considering the consequences.

Moldavia is an insignificant country you might say. But this can happen anywhere in EDEN or elsewhere. Any country president can ask for full control over all national organizations of a country. This is pretty much like declaring open season to country taking overs. Norway was under Serbian TO a while back. what would have happened if the Serbian CP asked for all Norway national organizations (including military units) and then deplete all their resources?

So you see, this is a serious problem which affects all of us. The admins just legalized the taking over and total destruction of a country and it`s military. Any TO-er can take control over a country national organizations. All we can do is to send a message and tell them they made a mistake. By removing regular organizations they rendered a military unit pretty much useless. Now military units must keep their properties in a commander`s account. If that citizen is banned or if he leaves or if he goes bonkers and steals everything, the unit is gone.

The last chance military units had was to transform their regular organizations into national ones. Now an ill intended country president can take over their properties in his own interest or as a payback. You took control from the hands of the people and you put it all in the hands of one person. Tell me Admins, is it worth the risk?

You have the Moldavian example and if you don`t change the rules there will be many more to come. Both big and small countries are at stake here. ANY country president can go berserk and steal everything he lays his hands on. Military units and communities alike are in jeopardy.

So make your voice heard. Ask the admins to reconsider their decisions. Tell them to find a solution to military units before closing down organizations. Tell them to use their head more. And tell them to give back all the properties to the 3 military units which were depleted by their resources(Legiunea Beretelor Verzi, Legiunea Umbrelor, Zimbrii TMD) because of a thief president...

And to all of you, think twice before electing a country president, for the above mentioned reasons.
