USWP Official Candidate List

Day 674, 13:20 Published in USA USA by ligtreb
NOTE: There is a serious PTO effort against our allies that you should consider helping with. But since elections here will continue as normal tomorrow, it's my job to show you the USWP's candidate list.

I served as the USWP's Political Action Committee director this month, and it was my responsibility to recruit the best candidates possible. This month more than usual, the USWP put emphasis on quality over quantity. On top of our usual collection of old-timers, the USWP is running an excellent group of first-time candidates and many candidates who aren't USWP members but would be great senators (these people are either sixth-party members or have no-party affiliation).

I am definitely NOT saying these people should be elected into Congress only because they're USWP members. I am saying that these people should be elected into Congress because they're quality citizens and have contributed a lot to our society.

While I'd love to write blurbs about all of our 40+ candidates, that would be way too long to read. I am instead going to focus on a few:

QUALITY FIRST-TIME CANDIDATES

Yang Wenli, Virginia
Seriously, this guy is amazing. His newspaper has already been used to help newbs and interview prominent USA figures. He's very active on the forums and is very wise about game mechanics.

Chocolate McSkittles, Vermont
Another amazing candidate. He's active on the forums in helping out new players and also uses his companies for the same purpose. He's a game mechanics guy and has also agreed to be the co-director of the new re-vamped Welcoming Committee (more on that later).

Devan Kronos, South Carolina
Devan also is famous for his interview series, as well as an impressive list of multi-partisan endorsements. He's been active on IRC and has a great understanding of game mechanics

More quality first-time candidates:

Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Arizona
Sam Kraus, Nebraska
Michael J Frost, New Hampshire
Seamus Harper, New Mexico
DisDick, North Carolina
Fionia, New York
Tacitus Arkenseale, Oklahoma

THE PARTY VETERANS
You've probably seen these people before, and they're back for more!

Killing Time, Arkansas
Seriously, this guy's done it all. 7-time congressman, advisor to three presidents, CIA director, Marines, Air Force, Forum Administrator. In brief, he's qualified.

Zcia, Florida
A three-time Party President, Budget Committee Chairman, 5-time Congressman. He's also pretty awesome.

Dodgercatcher, Louisiana
Yes, you read that right, Dodgercatcher's joined the USWP (and brought Joe Newton with him). DC has served in Congress before and has had a variety of roles in the government and military.

More great USWP members running:

OUT-OF-PARTY CANDIDATES RUNNING AS USWP
There's a bunch of them this month, and the USWP happily supports these people:

Tiacha, Texas
Yeah, you read that right. She's back! Tiacha is one of this country's greatest citizens has been very involved with Congress, the Cabinet and the military in the past.
