I thought there were big erors in the article until I noticed that your link to "Ralph Kline" actually leads to "rolo tahmassi" an entirely different player and present citizen of eCanada. He was the fellow, formerly President of canada, who stole its entire treasury. And then participated in the second go round. He was recently pardoned. The present President, Acacia Mason, voted for that pardon. It has caused some consternation. Let's hope they can get their house in order.

I, for one, cannot wait to invade canada.

What olivermellors said is true. There are a big mess in eCanadian Congress. Rolo have stolen a lot of gold and also have PTOed 4 parties until now. 2 of them are currently top 5 parties. He openly buy votes (30 Q6 tanks per vote last time) and he got some seats in the Congress using that strategy. He was a terrorist until he got a controversial Pardon. The official eCanadian army planed a fake PTO as a protest. There are a lot of people protesting about that Pardon. I think that this "self-attack" is another protest against that Pardon and it's not a real threat to eCanada.

In my opinion, the real threat is corruption and corrupted politicians. If Rolo's supporters get more power, maybe they could steal eCanada's treasure again or try to sell eCanada to an enemy country. They need more than 50% of the congress to do that and Rolo got more than 50% of the votes for that Pardon. Currently there are a proposal to donate 500 gold to Rolo in eCanada's forum, Open door congress section. Until now, it seems that the proposal won't pass but there are a lot of congressmen that haven't voted yet.

I don't think it's a veritable PTO. Allegiances are being stretched as people find ways to solve a lingering problem while a small (but growing) group of troublemakers are doing whatever they can to stir up trouble...such as casting doubt in the eyes of our allies. Mission Not Accomplished here, I hope.

olivermellors had me going to until I clicked the link, but I do think there's a modifier issue in your sentence that makes it seem Ralph Kline instigated the impeachment and intimidation tactics towards the CP. I'm not supporting his resistance wars, yet do know he's above bullying people around, even if he appears to be doing that right now. Quite the conundrum.

The situation is WAY more complicated than it just seem.

This is the result of roughtly a year and a half of infighting after Rolo stole 6000 gold from the treasury, ever since then, there has been a rift in the country. Lately he was reinstated, despite showing absolutely no remorse in his action (the PTOing and destruction of 3 top 5 party) and constant harassment. He thrives by having a large amount of lackey who are constantly kept in line with bribes.

However, he does have natural supporter who wish to see an end to the fighting in the country. Thus they pardonned him for everything and hoped he would turn good. This is what as triggered the exodus of several proiminent canadians lately.

Yes, the situation is very complicated. Ralph Kline is fighting against eCanada not in order to gain power, but as an act of protest over the current administration and the general decay of Canadian society.

I myself left because the place was falling apart. I may have stayed if there was a Marijuana Party there, but chances are it would've been PTO'd anyways.

Some of the countries most experienced players and former CPs are leaving it due to the political situation. A rouge group of political dissidents are leading a coup from the inside, those fighting for eCanada are finding that they must tank against the country they helped build to save it from itself and unite the community against the growing internal coup.

You should be warned that many of those leading the country these days have been extremely oppositional to the countries alliances including the current CP. Many us us fighting against the current regime have been the eUSA's true friends and allies and have led platoon after platoon into battle for the eUSA for many years.

These terrorists have attacked and tanked vs Canada and started RWs against our regions. They couldn't work in Congress for 18 months to resolve things and accept the limitations of game mechanics so now they want the whole country to suffer. They are still Congressmen even though they have now moved and been given citizenship in your country. They lose their motions in Congress and now are whining and bullying. They are intimidating and threatening Canada. They now base themselves in your country and benefit from your resource bonuses so they can mount their campaign of terror.

And they've taken it outside the game by having real life phone calls to our President intimidating and threatening him. That's the character of some of the people supporting this mob. Telling you they are fighting on principle one moment while acting anything but principled the next.They couldn't affect change inside the government when given month after month after month, that now they've become irrelevant for all their whining and where their bought accounts no longer merit influence. They just don't know it yet.

Others knew they were irrelevant and left previously, yet still sit over here and beak off. Freely telling us what our problems are - even though they were part of the very system that created it. I wish this was a game with PvP because so many would be KOS.

Please - keep them. They aren't wanted back.
