My Fellow Americans and Pfeiffer

Greetings and Salutations,

As evidenced by the Official Results below, Oblige has indeed been elected to a fourth term as President of the United States:



I have looked over and over again, but I still cannot see Pfeiffer anywhere on the ballot, despite his claims on Sunday that he was going to win the election. After further investigation, it seems that when Pfeiffer said he was gonna win, he meant the candidate he backed; in this case; Israel Stevens. Unfortunately, Pfeiffer's involvement only served to discredit an otherwise worthy candidate. Basically, Pfeiffer's attitude is "if the candidate wins, he (Pfeiffer) wins; but if the candidate loses, the candidate loses alone". Good person to have on a campaign.





I'm sure most had heard the rumor that I am leaving the New World for a new world. It's true. Even as you read this, I am preparing ideas for what will be my first and last term as Vice President and my last month here in eRepublik, barring something completely bizarre that changes my mind.

Truth is, as I said in a recent article with Jared Moffett,

There are major problems in the community. Polarization and cut-throatness at every turn.

Since I was picked by Oblige to be his running mate, I have experienced hate that would made my decision to leave this community an easy one. It was so bad, others pointed it out to me and I retreated from IRC and communicated with Oblige and youngHOOD primarily through text messaging.

People say I should toughen up or get thicker skin. I say Why? If I wanted to experience hate and stupidity, I would still be married to my ex-wife. Or, as I stated in an alternative reality:

Should I continue to live a life in a world that doesn't seem to want me or in a world that seems welcoming and exciting?





So I have already stepped down as Party President of the U.S. Marijuana Party. Currently, Chickensguys is the Interim Party President. I will be stepping down as Unit Commander of THC in a few days. In the end, the only things I will focus on are my job as Vice President and continuing to host the eNPR on Tuesdays and Thursdays. After this month is concluded, I'm outta here, man.





I've got a few pet projects I will be working on this term. After all, I've got to give you all some reason to miss me. Make sure you are subscribed to this paper to see more in the near future.
