Here we are again.... The presidential elections!!
I would like to announce that I, Winston Hope Smith will again be running for eIrelands country president under ILP and hopefully with the support of a few other parties too! 🙂

Before I get down to some of the more mundane details of a CP election bid in subsequent articles I want to address some issues

Finance
eIreland is having good times at present and some may say why change horse while winning?...
It must be remembered the current good times is a result on a plan by Sweet Drinker, a plan that we in the ILP after a lot of questions and answers from Sweet, supported. In fact the Tax Change proposal was proposed by myself on the request of Sweet Drinker. I still support this plan and oppose any attempts to lower the tax. I will maintain this position until a better plan comes along. Until that time be advised that eIrelands financial well being is safe in a WHS administration. (unless Congress goes against my wishes)

Military Alliance & Military
I am a supporter of maintaining our position in Eden. Have a supportive alliance is the reason the eUK signed the peace deal in the first place. They were forced to the table, forced by our partners in Eden and for that I am fully behind our armies been used to support our allies in Eden.. I supported the peace deal with eUK and and say so public. When I last ran I had a peace deal with the eUK as one of my priorities. I had initial messages with the then candidate Talon and we both agreed such a deal was possible and in both countries interests. I was cheered when I heard my victorious opponent had made such a deal. I will adhere to the peace deal terms. So be advised our alliances and the eUK peace deal will be, subject to good faith on the opposing side, safe in a WHS administration.

Community
Much is made of the rifts in eIrish society. ICA v Libertad, IPP/ISP v everyone else, Older players who felt they were pushed out v older players who gained power...I really don’t care about all this...what I care about, and what I hope and believe we all, no matter what side you put yourself in care about, is making èIreland stronger and a nicer place. Supporting our new players and MUs, Supporting player development, player retention, player community etc.

We need new blood in eIreland. New blood will have new ideas. Some may not work but some will no doubt will. I have ideas and I want the opportunity to implement them with the authority of the top office. Will I make mistakes? Yes I will!! But I will learn from them.

Finally like last time...

I intend to inform people about why they should vote for me rather then why not vote for the opposition. Basically I would like to wish the other presidential candidate/s good luck but apart from that I shall focus mainly on what I feel I can bring to eIreland and what I can help her achieve.
