USA, 11:00 (Dec20) | Day 761 of the New World

Rather its a simple RW or a major strategic battle we all take a second before putting in our fights for the day. Rarely does one blindly buy weapons and berserk a battle, ignoring the circumstances of that battle and or war. We generally take into account 3 major aspects, first how much we got in the bank, we look at our savings and how much and at what quality we can buy. With that in mind we look at the importance of the raging battle. The media tells us alot about the importance of a battle, shouts, advertisement, it all helps us grasp the true grandeur or unimportance of a battle. After realizing how important that battle is we think of our plans. We think about the company we want to open, the org we want to invest in, the newspaper we hope to establish. And with those things in mind we make our calculation buy our weapons and pay our due with five fights.

This form of thinking is beneficial, most of the time. It keeps us within our budget, keeps us from over fighting when the need for it isn't there and it keeps us in line with government plans and orders. As beneficial as this thinking is, at times it becomes a hindrance, an obstacle. By nature we tend to be a bit selfish, we tend to hold back more then we should, to reserve for a later date instead of acting at the most strategic time. We often let our future plans overshadow the importance of a battle, our funds to dictate how much effort we will put in. Consequently we as a country will at times put in a huge effort but due to miscalculations of the few we are narrowly defeated. As time has shown us, no matter how much our government tanks a battle, the deciding factor can be those few who withheld too much.

Safe borders, balanced economy, quiet nights seems to have made many of us too confident, too comfortable. When America was invaded and fighting for survival the amount of selflessness and complete commitment was enormous. Nobody thought twice about a battle, we gave every fight all we had. But with America safe, the fall of PEACE and a receding Phoenix alliance an alarming number of Americans have become disillusioned, wrongly thinking that buying Q2s instead of Q3s for the upcoming battle wont make a difference, that fighting 5 times when beserking is in need wont effect the outcome of a battle. Many fail to realize that every ounce they withhold from an important battle is an ounce of support they give to our enemies. We sometimes underestimate our enemies and overestimate our current capabilities. Foolish is he who thinks that because this war is now raging in Asia and Europe that our shores are forever safe from aggression.

Its time we put in real work, make some real sacrifices. Important battles such as Liaoning will come and demand our best in order to secure victory. Any less and we are dragging our feet. To quote a famous book "To him who much is given much is required." We as a nation have been given in abundance, our borders are far apart our economy stable and healthy, our friends many and loyal. Much is required, rather we like it our not. Its essential that we hold nothing back, in the face our enemies we must act without mercy, without hesitation. Strench your budget, put your personal plans on hold and pay the price now to secure the tomorrow. Put your best foot forward and your best wholehearted effort up front.

Together we CANNOT be stopped.

Editor's Corner - Patriotism
The word patriotism comes from a Greek word meaning fatherland. For most of history, love of fatherland or homeland was an attachment to the physical features of the land. But that notion changed in the eighteenth century, when the ideals of democracy, socialism, and communism strongly emerged into political thought. Patriotism was still a love of one's country that included connections to the land and people, but then also included its customs and traditions, pride in its history, and devotion to its welfare.

Today most people agree that patriotism also involves service to their country, but many disagree on how to best perform such service. Some believe that the national government speaks for a country; therefore, all its citizens should actively support government policies and actions. Others argue that a true patriot speaks out when convinced that their country is following an unwise or unjust action.

Patriotism is a love of and loyalty to one's country. A patriot is someone who loves, supports, and is prepared to serve their country.
